If they are on the team before you start building and you keep them on the team you are by definition building the team with them there. The team is being built around them, regardless of if it is being built to feature them. Not that it makes any difference because both Scoot and Shae got lots of minutes last year when healthy, which we have explained to you about 1000 times, but yeah some of those guys did start out playing behind someone
Scoot started more than half his games.
Jokic: started 55 of his first 80 games
Haliburton started 20 of his first 55 games
Booker 51 of 76
Giannis 23 of 77
SGA was the exception. A guy who idiotically has been traded twice.
As for this statement: "If you're keeping them on the team you're building the team around them. Regardless of if it's focused on them or not." ......... Let's just say I disagree and leave it at that.
The question wasn't about minutes. Once again, Ant and Grant dominate the ball and stop the flow of the offense.
When both of those guys are in the game Sharpe doesn't play as well as when one or both aren't there.
And no. I disagree that those guys "outplayed" players of similar caliber to Grant or Ant. Players were moved to so those players could be more featured (if there were even players there to begin with).
