Notice Nearly 30 years old, the Moda Center is the oldest NBA arena to not have undergone major renovation (1 Viewer)

Not that it makes any difference because both Scoot and Shae got lots of minutes last year when healthy, which we have explained to you about 1000 times, but yeah some of those guys did start out playing behind someone

Scoot started more than half his games.

Jokic: started 55 of his first 80 games
Haliburton started 20 of his first 55 games
Booker 51 of 76
Giannis 23 of 77

SGA was the exception. A guy who idiotically has been traded twice.

As for this statement: "If you're keeping them on the team you're building the team around them. Regardless of if it's focused on them or not." ......... Let's just say I disagree and leave it at that.
If they are on the team before you start building and you keep them on the team you are by definition building the team with them there. The team is being built around them, regardless of if it is being built to feature them.

The question wasn't about minutes. Once again, Ant and Grant dominate the ball and stop the flow of the offense.

When both of those guys are in the game Sharpe doesn't play as well as when one or both aren't there.

And no. I disagree that those guys "outplayed" players of similar caliber to Grant or Ant. Players were moved to so those players could be more featured (if there were even players there to begin with).

The Line up of:
Ayton
Avidja
Grant
Sharp
Simons
With all getting 30 plus a night is a pretty formidable team.

define formidable?

better yet...predict wins if that happens. I'm thinking 35-38
Maybe eventually getting into the 2nd round if one of Scoot or Sharpe can become an All Star.

Likely never top 6 team, IMO.

Of all the old arenas, Moda is the cleanest and best maintained….. no bias needed.

Thank you for your opinion.

Lol the same opinion he runs circles around and repeats himself over and over when he was proven wrong countless times.
Well, at least I'm not running around talking about you to other people.

Good to know I live rent free in your head. Lol

Thank you for your opinion.
The first part is simple English. The second part is statistics. Not really an opinion.

The third part is an opinion. But it's also very clearly true.

So yeah, no problem. Happy to help.

Cringe af. You have shown to be worthless to discuss anything with, got tired of proving you wrong over and over.

You will need to grab some tissues for your issues if the season starts with Ant and Grant on the team.

Lol. Pwnd

There's only one way to settle this thread. If I pay each of you $50, can I watch a 3-way fight? You pay travel. No hotel.
Nah he already got tag teamed on, and was beaten down like those jobbers in wrestling that lose over and over.

His finishing move is repeating himself over and over without making sense until he bores you to sleep.

Next!

Lol. I'm still living rent free, I see...

I don't really see the problem. I'm way older than the Moda Center, and I've never been renovated.

barfo
That's because I built it. Now you I did not build and I'm certain some renovations are well over due.

Like clockwork....drop mic! move along now..
Lol, can you imagine getting this worked up over somebody disagreeing with you?

Even the Convention Center is older than the Moda, as are most the buildings in the area. Only needs rejuvenation, Like the Bald Eagle that after staring directly in the sunlight till their beak rejuvenates and then go on and live for another 20-25 years.

Blazers have extended the lease to Moda Center until 2030 with an option to extend to 2035...they are planning a major renovation with the city of Portland taking ownership of the property for a token one dollar at some point...it's in the article...talks about the desire to bring an WNBA team into the fold as well

I wonder what the “major renovation” will include and when it will happen?

The city has been saying there is going to be a major renovation to the Memorial Coliseum since the Moda opened.

Nothing has happened.

Remember, the city of Seattle owned Key Arena. They did nothing with it and allowed it to fall into disrepair. The Sonics are the only NBA team to have a rain delayed game because of roof leaks. That opened the door for the Sonics to leave OKC. The Blazers have done a wonderful job maintaining and improving the Moda center. Turning this over to the city makes me nervous.
