OKay, My take on all this.

Way over blown. Everyone can get up in the heat of the moment, but we al must level ourselves back to a common ground.

Here is the thing. Being impartial about posts I've read since I have been here, I think both HCP and King can be very testy and love to try to "Push Buttons"

A perfect match for each other, so its no wonder they are butting heads so hard.


What is silly is making statements like this is a forum, "let it go". "take a step back" and "your taking this too seriously" by people who are actually trying to poke him.

I also find it funny that a couple people who say some take this place too seriously are ones who themselves hold grudges based off of one specific conversation and then condemn with a final judgment. Talk about not being able to get over stuff.... LOL. Talk about the ultimate hypocrisy...

Your right. I'm wrong. You take this too seriously, but I'm never going to converse with you again because you take this too seriously.. But... i'm not taking this too seriously at all.

Those of you who do this know who you are too. But its okay. I forgive you, because this IS just a forum and people say and do things all the time they might want to take back later. I'm not going to condemn or judge or hold a grudge. Its all good. I think a few of you who say some take this too seriously, should also not take it so seriously.

I'm not really sure how the guy who hasn't continually harped about a fucking bet, hasn't contacted the other one about the stupid fucking bet, hasn't flooded this board with posts about it, hasn't even brought it up out of the blue, is the one you're throwing shit at.

King is not a victim here, he's not innocent, and he's getting exactly what he deserves out of this, and exactly what he wants (attention).

This was partly because I didn't really care about a stupid bet on an internet forum, but if he didn't decide to pay I wouldn't really have given a shit either.

ERIC, in this situation, cannot seem to let it go. The only thing he cared about is being "RIGHT" (the one time out of what, 100?) and shoving it in peoples faces. He even started multiple threads calling out HCP and brought it to the attention of the moderators.

Another observation is there is this stigma that all people are entitled to their opinions, and while that is true, it does not always make their opinions right and automatically make everyone else's wrong. I notice as well that people that are constantly reminding people that "It's my opinion and I have the right to my opinion and you have no right to tell me otherwise" are A: violating their own law of people being entitled to opinions, and B: typically are complete assholes. SO when I see a discussion and I see a person constantly defending their right to their opinion I normally feel they are defending their right to be an asshole.

IIRC, PapaG went off because someone publicly posted a picture of someone holding a nerf gun. He deserved the flack he got for that.

However, I'm in complete agreement with you about the posting of the text messages. Tell everyone that he's texting you, tell us that he's reading the thread--but posting screen shots of the actual texts is juvenile. Adults should be better than that. Regardless of how ridiculously Kingspeed may be behaving, HCP should be willing/able to rise above.

i can respect that. But if someone sends me a text in real life and acts one way on here and accuses me of shit/being a bad fan, i see nothing wrong with pointing out how they are in reality.

It's like the old saying, you can tell a lot about a mans (or womans) character by how they act when they think no one is looking.

Bottom line, eric went way overboard insulting hcp and his wages. From posting over the years i know that hcp worked his ass off to get to where he is and to make a better life for his family. He should be really proud of what he accomplished. Not having some poster talking down to him like he is better than them because he is in hollywood. Hcps wages and what he does for a living had nothing to do with the conversation. Eric said those things to try on purpose to be malicious.

Should hcp have posted the texts? Probably not. But i didnt get a malicious intent from him in doing so. I took it as more of a wtf is wrong with this guy for trying to go for the jugular.

And i saw that as a poster who has been annoyed by hcp and eric. Im not "choosing sides"
