Let me ask you a question. Why are Portland fans not allowed to bitch and complain like every other fan in America? Philly fans bitch about anything. Laker fans fans bitch when their players aren't viewed by the national media the way they see them? New York fans complain about EVERYTHING.

Other fans say, "Oh. That's Phily for you. They are real Philly sports fans. Blah. Blah. Blah. Probably bitch about the Flyer's goalie too. God love them!"

It's considered NORMAL. Like a natural communal quirk.

But in Portland.

"You're in the Anti-Olshey crowd."

(Or the Timbers)

"You're in the Anti-Gavin crowd."

"Complaining about being dropped from the first round for the 20th time? All you do is bitch bitch bitcb!"

Everywhere else in the country standard pragmitism and skepticism is the norm. In Portland, the inverse is the case. Not having the blind loyalty of some cult like drone gets you immediate scorn from a good selection from the fan base.

Where the hell does this collective attitude come from? I'm dying to know!

OK aside from Anthony Davis who did not go anywhere, who were the needle movers we missed out on?
Everyone who is bitching lets here what you would have done.

For me Tobias Harris would have been a gamble that I would have taken, but is he worth the near max ? And why did Jerry West and the Clips dump him for basically draft picks. Isn't that like doubting God?

bc they want cap space like the what the knicks did for porzingis.

we didn’t even need a needle mover we just needed an upgrade at the forward

Have you compared this forum to others around the NBA? This is friggin Disneyland. Whenever we complain about Olshey in here it comes off like Oliver Twist saying, "Please sir. May I have some more?"

I think most of the bitching today is because they did want a needle mover. Mirotic is an upgrade that I would have offered Aminu and a first for but even that
is not a huge needle mover.

all of us wanted at least an upgrade. We got neither an upgrade, needle mover, nor cap relief

....and that is why nearly everyone is pissed

I understand it perfectly fine, but there is no logic of any of that is there? If so, someone please link me to the quotes that substantiate that. Should be easy. I have no problem with critiquing things, but when posters start speculating and offering it up as fact, then it is an issue.

Risks don’t necessarily work out well. They weren’t trades but matching Crabbe’s offer was a risk. Signing Turner was a risk.

Who did you want? And for who? I am just trying to figure out who we are pissed off about missing out on? Because some people are making sense and others are pissed because they think they need to be.
