The idea that if we don't hear about a trade proposal, it didn't happen, implies that every conversation NBA GMs have is public knowledge. This has got to be the silliest concept I've ever seen on this board. Every GM in the league is talking to other GMs about players and possible trades. That's their job. It's also their job to not spread the content of those conversations all over the internet.

I don’t mind bellyaching about something that’s happened and you disagree with. Constant bitching about things that haven’t happened is annoying. It’s a very safe bet. He talks to Dame all the time. He’s known to be an inclusive GM. It’s hurt him in the past (Eric Gordon.) He wouldn’t make a decision like this without talking, or at least giving a heads up to Dame.

The reality is we can do better than Ed. Take the emotion out of it. He was invisible in the playoffs. Yeah so were some other guys, but a guy like Ed should never be invisible since teams don’t gameplan around him nor does he have a game that relies on rhythm and touches.
