Has anyone heard if they are expanding areas? Just curious if we will get this over the air in Central Oregon or not this year.

I prefer NBA LP with Surfshark VPN. I can watch non Blazer non National TV games in addition to Blazers games

I think you should be able to watch all games, including games that are on national TV, if you set the VPN to a country like Japan. I don't know if the connection speed would be affected, though.

will try next time, i was just using east coast server to watch blazer games

Portland/the NBA is working on a direct streaming deal with China to broadcast Trail Blazer games.
One thing is for certain. If Yang does become a good player the Portland media market will get a bunch bigger. Certainly translates to viewers.

I know what you meant, but that's technically not true. The "media market" is determined by population, households with TV's. The Portland media market will remain the same unless a significant amount of Yang fans move to the Portland area.

Yeah pretty sure he meant the "Total Addressable Market" of viewers watching the Blazers. If Yang pops out the gate it could result in a significant increase in the franchises valuation/sell price.

Should have said the Blazers media market. By saying Portland it made it sound like I was talking about the City of Portland. You are correct the Portland media market is set on Population.

  • How are y'all doing TV?

  • Season-long national games:
    • Monday: Peacock
    • Tuesday: NBC/Peacock
    • Wednesday: ESPN
    • Friday: Prime Video
  • Additional weekly national game days/nights starting mid-season:
    • Thursday: Prime Video
    • Saturday: ABC/ESPN/Prime Video
    • Sunday: ABC/ESPN/NBC
  • Every national game will be available on broadly distributed streaming services – the ESPN App for all ABC/ESPN games, Peacock for all NBCUniversal games and Prime Video for all Amazon games.

Can't believe YTTV is still being shit heads about this.

There's what about a ten or so Blazers national games? Can't remember the number.

I'll still buy league pass. If I was in Portland I'd buy Blazervision. Looks like I'll need to subscribe to Peacock too.

League pass works with YTTV for me. Sucks if they still don't have those local channels added for y'all that need that.

I really like being able to watch the quad screens with YTTV.
