I've seen the video of the plane crashing into the Pentagon.

Rumsfeld was on Fox News yesterday. VERY interesting. Yeah, he's hawking his book, but he's also much more relaxed and willing to talk about what went on.

He deliberately said we waterboarded THREE and only three of the detainees and they did spill important intel.

He was asked about how this whole thing was handled, and he said they took the highest risk/highest reward strategy and it was the right move.

When asked about releasing the photo, he said he fully understands why it shouldn't be released, but if it were up to him, he'd lean toward releasing it.

Not a single harsh word for the current administration, and lots of praise.

Rumsfeld and Bush live by a different code, one Carter forgot. Their time in the public eye is done. They don't trash other administrations, even if they disagree with them.

You've got to wonder if there were any weapons at the compound. Perhaps this was a sort of "retirement home" for Bin Laden and if he were essentially "out" of Al Queda.

One wonders why conspiracy theorists don't try jumping off tall buildings. After all, just because people say it would be bad doesn't mean it really is. Maybe it is some fantastic feeling that they don't want you to know about.

I'm sure at least the Navy high command would be aware. And, of course, the SEAL team. After that, I don't know how many people were involved in processing the body, but I'm sure the SEALs themselves didn't keep it solely in their possession before tipping it into the ocean.

There's no proof that jumping off a building will hurt you in any way. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. There's no pictures, video, witnesses, no body. Anyone who claims otherwise has been duped by the conspiracy and their faked pictures and videos.

Yeah, I wasn't really addressing you. I definitely understand your point, and I think it's completely rational.

Personally, I do think there is something to the idea of "not antagonizing crazy people." Yeah, you may be right that they would probably do crazy things anyway, but you don't really know that. Some nutjob with a heart condition might be thinking about blowing himself up at an embassy tomorrow, but doesn't because he wasn't antagonized, and he dies of a heart attack a week later.

I have crazy people in my own family. They do crazy shit, and I can usually see it coming. When they do that crazy stuff, it pisses me off, and I know I'm entirely in the right for being mad. But it's also taught me the value of not antagonizing them more than I have to.
