what bullshit is this? Powell was one of the guys i wanted to keep for a long time. this is tank mode trading.

Seriously, i want to know one rational reason why we do this deal outside of simply clearing long term salary. This can't have been the only offers out there.

Does it make sense to deal CJ and keep Bledsoe? I'm trying to find a damn silver lining besides "we ducked the tax"
 
At this point I would rather have Eddie Winslow. At least he looked like Zach Randolph.

I'm just trying to think of what the hell we can do personnel wise to even get assets now. CJ has to be traded to salvage this at all, and now I've lost hope Cronin can get fair value for him.

I'm gonna need to hit the trade machine and see if I can find a trade for CJ that's even less productive and more nonsensical than this Powell/RoCo deal.

We have to guarantee his deal to be able to trade him. Do you want to risk guaranteeing Bledsoe at 19 mil with a potential to get nothing back for him?

Yeah, people hated the afflalo trade (wrongly, of course) but this one is unequivocally awful, only saving grace is somehow packaging Bledsoe with someone to bring back a good piece.

OH WAIT WE COULD HSVE DONE THAT WITH POWELL AND ROCO FMGDL.

Dame must be excited we avoid the tax. We only lost two good pieces in the meantime and got nothing back. Surely we will be win now mode next season with Keon Johnson and Winslow right?
