ok, finally talked to my friend. kind of strange. anyway, after the photo shoot, her, her boyfriend  and my friend went back to his place to drink and do some blow. the porn star got all naked or something but the boyfriend was there....again...

she kept on talking about getting her friend there and watching my friend fuck her while she fucked her boyfriend...but for some reason it didn't happen...i think my friend and the boyfriend probably didn't get along..who knows.

he's gone to her place but every time the boyfriend is there and my friend said he's "jealous" or controlling or something like that.

its a whole seedy underbelly in that scene. i've been around these types of people in the past and its shady as fuck.

I'm really disappointed in my friend that he still hasn't banged her. He always uses the girl's boyfriend as an excuse, but shit...he was telling me she was hitting him up on the side. I'm chalking this up to: no game.

looking at beach cruisers...want one for the weekend. might get a low rider.

An old Marine Pilot sat down at
the Starbucks, still wearing his old USMC flight jacket and ordered a
cup of coffee.

As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him. She
turned to the pilot and asked,

Are you a real pilot?

He replied, 'Well, I've spent my
whole life flying planes, first Stearmans, then the early Grummans...
flew a Wildcat and Corsair in WWII, and later in the Korean conflict,
Banshees and Cougars. I've taught more than 260 people to fly and given
rides to hundreds, so I guess I am a pilot, and you, what are you?

She said, 'I'm a lesbian. I
spend my whole day thinking about naked women. As soon as I get up in
the morning, I think about naked women. When I shower, I think about
naked women. When I watch TV, I think about naked women. It seems
everything makes me think of naked women.'

The two sat sipping in silence.

A little while later, a young man sat down on the other side of the old
pilot and asked:

"Are you a real pilot?"

He replied, 'I always thought I
was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian.'

Can we get rid of these religion threads in the OT?

Create a subforum or something, because it's all just trifling.

I'm a Christian, and I'd usually defend Christianity, but this shit is just reaching trollish levels.

These things seem to go in cycles. If it doesn't die down on a week or two we'll look in to it.

So, how would you tell a girl no when asked for your home address without sounding like a snobby asshole?

I made her text me the receipt lol.

Anyone out there had knee injuries before?

I just had a guy fall on my knee at the gym, twisting my leg sideways. I can't put any pressure on it, but I can move it back and forth. Hurts like a bitch though... not going to the ER unless it gets worse... any thoughts about what the problem might be?

EDIT: to be more specific, now the pain's starting to shoot down the rest of my leg... not sure if that's typical of some sort of tear...

Kinda bullshit that the NSFW Random Thoughts Thread is dead these days... let's revive this shit and make it the communicative thread it used to be...

Anyway, I bought a band and crutches today, seeing the doc tomorrow, but pretty sure I tore an ACL/MCL... fuck if I know the difference, I was a business major...

All I know is that after the aforementioned douchebag fell on my leg sideways, I can't put any weight on my right knee/leg...

Ouch! Lets hope it's something minor.

Thanks man,... apparently it's hard to diagnose an ACL tear... go figure with all these athletes getting diagnosed with that right after they go down haha... Maybe my Memphis docs are just incompetent, but right now I just know I screwed up some ligament, and I've got a brace on and rolling with a crutch...

Anyway, that's not going to keep me from seeing Bob Dylan (for the second time) tomorrow at our minor league baseball park...

Also noticed Robert Plant's coming to town in two weeks... anyone seen him live recently? I checked out his setlist on this tour, and he does a good deal of Zeppelin stuff... it's $80 bucks for general admissions, but I'm thinking that might be worth it...

Would any of ya'll pay $80 to hear Robert Plant do songs like "Going to California," "Black Dog," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Rock and Roll," because those were the staples of his last few setlists... and if he plays those, and maybe one other good Zeppelin song, I think it'd justify the asking price.

I know Bob Dylan was an acquired taste even when he had his "voice," but now that he's playing mostly his new stuff and sounds like a guy who smoked a pack a day for 40+ years, you'd be surprised how Dylan can empty out a baseball stadium half-way through his set...

I loved it... I've seen him before and knew what to expect... but damn, the stadium was packed for My Morning Jacket and Wilco, yet it was nearly empty at only 10:30 or so, half-way through Dylan's set... fans couldn't get to the exit fast enough...

going out tonight. not sure where I should head to. The beach bar with fat mexican chicks or the "upscale club" with uppity white chicks?

i worked as a runner for bob dylan at a concert in manchester a few years back and he had me go to the store for him, he said "dont tell anyone what you bought for me, and if you do, ill know"

kinda creepy

and yeah, he puts on one f the absolute worst shows out there right now, just sits behind his keyboard, doesnt talk at all between songs, just crappy crap

working at the zac brown concert tonight...big production, they do a weird glow in the dark black light encore and whatnot, cool lighting rig

kinda cracks me up though man, at least half the songs are covers, he does ryan adams, ray lamontagne, van morrison, etc...its like hipster country jamband or someshit

his guitarist (google it) co-wrote some of john mayers early songs, and is currently banging the venue owners daughter

if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life

What were his covers, because the Zac Brown Band has a lot of original stuff that I've always dug.

I also never really thought about Zac Brown as "hipster." The band's first few albums were good pop-southern rock, but recently he's been honing in on two types of songs - the "Jimmy Buffer-wannabe" tracks and the "ballads for the sake of doing ballads."

Tracks like "Chicken Fried" and "Toes" are stupid, fun pop-southern rock that remind me of college. Tracks like "Highway 20 Ride," "No Hurry," and "Colder Weather" are well-written country rock ballads. Then you get into songs like "Knee Deep" and "Keep Me in Mind" that're trying to keep alive the Buffet-esque sound from "Chicken Friend" and "Toes." They're fun songs, but it just comes off as overly disingenuous.

Gotta love this half-time speech... Gotta love Bobby Knight... think this mighta been from when Jared Jeffries played for em... Kirk Haston at the least -
