He was covered that whole time.

They should have drawn up a play to shake him free somehow. They seemed to draw it up for Batum who was covered and went to Aldridge as a last resort. Nothing on that play screamed give it to Lillard.

Not with this play. This play was either for Nic or LA. Should have run one for Dame.

Sure, our play was for them, but lo and behold, Devner plays this thing called "defense" and had figured it out.

LA and his fade away.......

Blazers with a lot of stupid turnovers in the 4th quarter. We need to get Corey Brewer this offseason.

Disagree. He did not look anywhere else. Never looked at lillard.

I thought he was looking for Batum. Definitely wasn't drawn up for Lillard but he was covered the whole time.

No reason to root for Portland to lose. The draft sucks this year.

I hope Aldridge's infatuation with the fade away isn't any kind of indication of how his career is going to go.

Sorry, I just watched it again. Miller was fronting Lillard. Yes he was a decoy, but he was not going to be open with Miller fronting him like that anyway.

Didn't they say that about last years.

Its always cracks me up that every years fans on here say, "oh but the draft sucks this year".

Yeah....

But still, one of these days, I'd like to see a game where the Blazers just play Lillard hero ball for 48 minutes straight. Should be very entertaining.

It's a good go to move. He beat Dallas with it. He tied this game with it. It just didn't go down this time. Lakers fans are delirious. Tonight went perfect for them. GS, Utah, Houston, Dallas, and Portland all lost.

Eventually Stotts needs to give Lillard these last shot chances. He is every much the franchise as Aldridge is (especially if Aldridge gets disgruntled at losing and wants to be traded). He may have been covered well tonight, but that still doesn't take away they didn't run the play for him at all after he just made the 3 previously.

It sucks that LaMarcus is part of the NBA's plan to get the Lakers into the playoffs. Fucking point shaver.

He's given Lillard a few. I like that he rewarded LA's "leader" talk by giving him the opportunity.

Batum 10 points, 6 rbs, 9 assts, 3 blks, 5 stls

Good game. Tough loss. We need a 6 game win streak now or never

Aldridge annoys me. He's one of those guys that quietly grumbles about how things should be, but doesn't go out and take what he wants. He just floats and waits for things to come his way. He's a good player, but he'll never be as good as he thinks he is. He doesn't have the confidence.

Yes a few. We need to see what we have in our hands, he needs more than a few when we have these types of games.

We know what we have on our hands. It's not like giving him a bunch of game winners with opponents focusing on him will change that.

Ya I said we should have a ran a play to open up Dame. This play was going to LA or possibly Nic. After he hit a shot on the previous possession, Dame deserved a look and he wasn't gonna get one with this play

I think if this fanbase didn't put Aldridge on this pedestal and act like he's a legit #1 option on a good team than he wouldn't bother me as much as he does.
