NUGGETS @ BLAZERS GAME THREAD - 02.27.2013, 7:30 PM - ESPN (1 Viewer)

Welcome to our community

We know what we have on our hands. It's not like giving him a bunch of game winners with opponents focusing on him will change that.

Well I'm still unsure then I guess. He has made one game winner that I recall. He has made big time shots late in the game, but still haven't seen him make the last shot except against the Hornets.

:( sucked we lost but this was awesome

Have to say though they do fight and keep games entertaining. Looking forward to the future

I think if this fanbase didn't put Aldridge on this pedestal and act like he's a legit #1 option on a good team than he wouldn't bother me as much as he does.

It's just his attitude. That shit about Greg being the #2 when he thought he should be the #2 was just whining about days gone by. He's soft, and I knew that shot wasn't going in before it even left his hands.

I don't see anyone doing that.

Pretty much everyone on Aldridge's side agrees he's a good player, but we can't win a championship with him alone.

The only arguing comes from people trying to argue that he's actually a bad player.

Aldridge annoys me. He's one of those guys that quietly grumbles about how things should be, but doesn't go out and take what he wants. He just floats and waits for things to come his way. He's a good player, but he'll never be as good as he thinks he is. He doesn't have the confidence.

He missed a shot. That is all. He made it (not to mention his game tying three) against Dallas. If he had a prob with confidence, he wouldn't have taken the shot. He hit a big shot for us this game like he has all season. He just missed the last two. Doesn't deserve to be attacked like that. Nobody hits every clutch (game tying or winning) shot he takes. Kobe hasn't hit one in a couple years.

I'm not sure who thinks he's a bad player, the guy has tons of talent, it's just his attitude that annoys me.

How did you know? He hit against Dallas. Did you watch that game? Where was your trash talk then?

Because I'm a psychic Eric. The ghost of Rasheed Wallace talks to me. He told me that shot wasn't going down, and if you had listened, you would have heard him yell "Ball don't lie!" when Aldridge missed.

He has made THREe I recall. I saw one live against Milwaukee or Minn in 2008. Last season, he hit one against Dallas. This year he hit one against Dallas.

Oh I thought you meant Aldridge

Lillard has taken about five potential game winners this year (all with the score tied ) and made 1

Did you see the win against Dallas this season? Gane tying three and then game winning shot at the buzzer.

And this was a different game. He had just missed another weak ass shot, but was bailed out by Lillard.

Perfectly said.

Aldridge just doesn't have the fire. He has MVP abilities but simply lacks will power.

He doesn't take failure hard enough . The look on his face after missing the final shot says it all to me.

Who said this? Who says Aldridge is a legit #1?

Its not saying it. Its acting like he's untouchable and there's not a trade that is worth giving him up.

That was not what you said. You said #1 option. Who said that?

What comments did I make that said I wouldn't trade him?

...this ended up being the "Dunk of the Night" on ESPN's Daily Dime -->

Thank God we have a scapegoat again.

Roy made zero his rookie year. Quit being greedy.

I was actually more impressed with Dre giving it a go and meeting him at the rim. Didn't have much of a chance to block it or stop the play but I respect the attempt.
