I guess this is the roster. Amin Al Hassin having a good laugh at our expense on sirius nba. we tanked for sharpe and grant?

It'll be funny if it turns out Sharpe is actually as good as people (much smarter than Amin AL Hassin, whoever the hell that is) think.

When he forces his way out, will you go with him?

i cant make any promises

Was expecting 75, but 70 means a starting salary around 16.2 mil.

This gives us about 4.3 mil of space to work with before hitting the apron.

Or a bit less than none if staying under luxury tax. Jody and Vulcan still run the team.

Or a little more than he deserves but it's not bad. This roster construction is a head scratcher though. Not a lot of size.
Defense is better than last season. We have several players that defend bigger than their height would indicate.

i think we're done. we don't really have any flexibility to make moves.

Toronto really needs to swap one of their PFs with one of our guards lol. It's like we're playing keep away from each other.

I'm gonna get vilified for this but.....Anfernee for OG during the season....

Yeah, why would we give 5% raises instead of the 8%?

i thought 5% was maximum allowable. either way, starting salary around 15.5-16.2 mil. minor detail, won't affect us in anyway.

Damn Spotrac is fast AF.

It actually makes a pretty big difference because the rookie scale for a 2nd rounder is around $1 million. Since we have about $5 million under the apron right now, that leaves us just enough to use most of the BAE for a backup center and sign Jabari Walker to a standard 3 year deal.

ah ok.

here it is then.

About 5 mil space for Walker and any other FA we want to bring in using the minimum or the BAE (4.1 mil)
We'd also still have up to that $5 million amount in the RoCo TPE if we wanted to go that route and save the BAE for another season, correct?

I still look at that roster and believe that it would be ideal if some greater consolidation could occur.

Unfortunately the hard cap kills that dream. If we try to make a consolidation move, we won't be able to sign players to fill the spots.

we have the TPE but can't exceed 157 mil in total salary. So in theory, a Thybulle for 2nd rounder would still work, but we'd then be left with no backups for Nurk.

Just a question.

With no signed contract, yet, COULD this become a S&T with Nurkic?

Definitely an overpay.

4/60 max

He can’t stay healthy and has only averaged 30 mpg ONCE in his career.

Hopefully this is a contract full of incentives.

I actually like Mitchell Robinson at 4/60 better lol, but it is what it is. This is our reality. I think there's a pretty good chance he's moved in the first few years on this deal.

Reading this message board, I can safely say no one is happier about this than I am. So I'm gonna resist all my urges to be rude and just say GLAD MY FUCKING CENTER IS BACK

We basically made lopsided trades not in our favor for Jermi Grant and the ability to resign our own guys.

I don’t really see how we got any better and I had decent hopes that we would be creative.

I don’t see this roster as being anything more than a play-in team. Another year of Lillard’s prime wasted.

Looks about the same as last year's team on paper, but at least there is upside now (mostly Ant and Nas).

The only way I seeing us better than a play-in team is if Nas out and becomes a legit option and stays healthy.

If Ant is better than CJ on offense we're already at a better state.

$30 million less than Simons? Yikes. I think Nurkic has given the Blazers more than Simons has.
