Who is under that cap that much? He's making something like 14 million this year.
SI reporting Gary Neal may be on the block.
A former Spur (so you know he buys into playing defense and team ball), shooting 42% on 3s, making around $3 million.
Worth a look?
Warriors-Nets: Battle of head coaches who are #2 and #3 all-time in assists.
OR, maybe he doesn't buy into playing defense and team ball which is why he was traded?
But yes. The issue with Neal is he doesn't really fit in Mil. However, he would be a great back up to Wes in Portland's system, and I wouldn't mind trading Barton or Claver for his services. The bucks could use a SF.
More likely, it was because of cap concerns.
I agree he would be a very good back-up for Wes. Someone here once called him "Wes Mathews Lite."
So how'd that work out?
AK-47 stealing the ball from Iggy?
KG stealing from Curry?
Ouch. Some win streak records weren't meant to be broken.
It was a great streak during one of the best road trips in NBA history.
You can bash it, but it just makes you look insecure and pathetic.
Rubio has turned into the Blazer/Knick version of Segio Rodriguez.
And he's apparently eying a max deal this summer.
Not even Kahn would do that now.

Minnesota is about to fall apart. Love made some digs at the bench
Rubio with 7 points tonight vs Phx. Love had 2 points the entire 4th quarter (shot 4-20 for the game). 1 point loss to Phx in Minn. Brutal.
Channing Frye went for 22 pts 5-10 from 3.
It just blows my mind how "experts" keep saying how Minnesota is a top playoff team. They're gonna make a push, they're gonna come around... And then the Blazers who already have proven they can win are the opposite, waiting for them to crash. It's so crazy.
Who is even under the cap right now?
Just admit when you're wrong. You fucked up the amnesty provision, and how it applies. There is a 7 day window in July during which a player can be amnestied. Chicago would be foolish to waive Boozer at this point, simply because they can clear his cap space for next year if they wait to amnesty him.
The caveat is if they can sucker a team into taking on Boozer and his big contract for next year, and replacing that with expiring contracts. I don't see how that happens, but that never seems to matter on this board when discussing player moves.
On paper they're a really good team.
Love
Pek
Rubio
Kevin Martin
They should be a lot better than they are, but Love is not a leader and Rubio is too one-dimensional. We don't have a single one-dimensional player in our starting five.
Minnesota is about to fall apart. Love made some digs at the bench
"We all need to be in this together," Love said. "That kind of (ticks) me off. We're supposed to be a team."Quote?
Montiejunas is available. Should we go after him? I think he'll be good.
The previous 10 games with this Blazer team is what Rubes have put up with ALL season.
The curse of Kahn.
