Well, playing down to opponents has poked its ugly head once again it seems. We still need to figure out how to close games regardless of the refs.

With one game left, its a virtual must win. Not only to get that three seed, but for the mindset of the team. We cant back into the playoffs on a losing streak. This team is still too young.

Well....That was the understatement of the thread...............

I waited to post this in hopes we would have racked up a few more wins in the post season and then we could rumble about who actually had the correct win prediction.
Unfortunately the Blazers didn't hold up on their end of the bargain. They left us very concerned and disappointed. As emotions soar high into the sky for those invested in the team, it will be a turbulent summer of hypotheticals bounced around like ants near a jackhammer. We can only hope that the franchise has as much concern as we do on the limitations of this current roster and will show this through example with some off season moves. Whether it be a new GM, a new coach, or a significant trade to upgrade and balance out the roster, most are under the same opinion that one of these things needs to happen, in order to take another step towards contender status.
I personally would like to see this happen through trade. It will solidify NO's existence, provide Stotts a balanced roster to sink or swim with and what we would hope to be an improved team with another go to guy on offense with lock down D.

With an early exit to the season, we can find a bright side by simply looking out the window. Just that much more time to enjoy the most beautiful summers you can find in this country, and this is coming from someone that has lived in several places across the country.
So with that said, crack a beer, get out the lawnmower, tune the Blazers out if you still feel the pain or it depresses you. Enjoy the summer, and we shall all meet up again this fall and toss down our predictions for the upcoming 2018-2019 season.
