Like I said earlier on in this thread, LeBron already was in a dunk contest - McDonald's 2003. He won, but he was still out-dunked by a better dunker, Shannon Brown. Even in Ohio, Brown would have been the hands-down favorite if he were just able to make his final dunk.

Ross was born in Portland, high school in Jefferson between Salem and Corvallis, college at UW. I'm for Ross.

I would give up Mathews in a trade to get Ross without even blinking once.

I'll put down a $10 bill right here that says Jefferson is wherever I say he is.

I remember having the same problem when the All-Star game was in New Orleans. The tickets for these things tend to largely be purchased in packages by corporations. I've got a friend in Houston as well who was saying they want $500 bucks for nosebleeds... yeah, nosebleeds. I'd rather pay that sort of money to see a couple of actual NBA games.

Yeah, same thing when it was in Oakland. Fans were only allowed in the upper balcony, all the other seats were for various 1%-ers. If memory serves, they had to pay a deposit and enter a drawing. It cost a fortune, more than a World Series or Finals ticket. I'd like to see Portland have an ASG because it sucks they never have, and I refuse to believe Portland's winter weather is worse than Chicago, but face it, the game is not for fans.

LeBron is not that creative when it comes to his dunks.

Vince Carter was, Ross is, the guy who won it last year was, lots of players were.

but provide a link showing that LeBron is such a fantastic dunker.

I bet a big reason why he's never done it is because he wouldn't be that impressive.

based on what? that he can jump high and is strong?

where is the evidence that he's super creative?

jumping high and being strong does not a creative dunker make.

dont have time to watch that 3rd video, but none of those warm up dunks would get him past the first round. Unless you get bonus points for throwing it hard. Not saying he wouldn't do well in the contest, just that those dunks wouldn't win anything.

You've got to be kidding me. Most of those dunks were better than all of Terrence Ross', you really think his were more creative? The bias against LeBron is ridiculous. And the third video has his most creative dunks, and they're in games.

The first dunk in the first video would have gotten him a 50 in this years contest.

And you do get extra credit for dunking it hard.. It would be idiotic not to.

he catches the ball basically when he's beginning to jump (not mid jump) and just does a fairly routine reverse dunk. that isn't that creative. and I'm not a Lebron hater. I actually like him and think he'd do pretty well if he actually tried.

But that isn't more creative than this (needing multiple tries is another story altogether, cause that sucks the life out of this event)

I don't think that is any more creative than LeBron's creative dunks from those videos. That's not very hard and it's been done before.
