Why didn't you tell KP to trust Aldridge on Durant instead of going with Oden?

Our downward trajectory was all your fault!
I tell you what….it was always going to be Greg no matter what. From the people who were at the KD workout at the team’s PF….said it was the most ridiculous thing they’d ever seen…… He NEVER missed!

How can you be 1st in assists and 4th in scoring and NOT?
Honestly I feel like the kid will come back next year and show lots of improvement and people will still be bitching and bitter over us trading Dame that they won't acknowledge his star rising.

If they ever needed CJ to win a game it's now. He can do it. We've all witnessed it.

he did it a couple of times, but that was when the defense was totally focused on Dame. With Zion out the Kings are likely to play straight on defense

I have been saying that raw numbers mean something and that the dude who is 4th in ppg and 1st in apg in a rookie class that didn't put up any crazy numbers besides Wemby will get an all rookie nod but these "experts" in here (especially the expert in being negative about our team @AldoTrapani ) keep telling me that because of efficiency and "advanced analytics" he won't be first or second team. I think that's crazy but the votes are most likely already in... so we will all wait and see.

Regardless I love the way Scoot is trending and his attitude means a lot as far as how much his game can get better in this league.

Yeah, I have no idea why we would be rooting for the Pelicans because if they're out of the playoffs it gives us better than a 95% likelihood to have a better pick in this draft. So I hope with Zion out CJ really forces things and in so doing the Pelicans take the 14th spot in the draft lotto. I hope the Heat lose too and we win the coin flip for 12th.

They still have BI and Alvarado. Just my thoughts but I would assume they will move CJ to primary SG with Alvarado running point. CJ is deadly when used in Catch and Shoot.
Bottom line everyone is going to have to step up to beat the Kings but remember that game is in the Blender and they have won plenty without Zion in the past.
As you can probably tell I'm pulling for the Pelicans and hope they get a chance to let Zion heal a bit and he can get a little playoff run.
This game should be close Pels are 1.5 point favorites at this point.

Difference in this draft between the 13th pick and the 12th pick doesn't seem like a huge factor to me but yeah I get your point.

The Nets are hiring veteran assistant coach Steve Hetzel to be part of Jordi Fernandez‘s new staff in Brooklyn, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN (Twitter link).

Hetzel was an assistant coach in Portland for the past three seasons under Chauncey Billups. Prior to his stint with the Blazers, he worked on Steve Clifford‘s staffs in both Charlotte (2014-18) and Orlando (2018-21).

Charlotte > Orlando > Portland > Brooklyn ... that has to be the worst pro resume ever. Is Hetzel the tanking secret weapon?
He's probably a genius. As an assistant coach he never has to have the win/loss record.

Looking at it that way, he may be the only asst coach guaranteed to never pursue a HC job.
I’m certain I could live comfortably on a lead assistant coaching salary. Plus you get good seats to games and get to watch some of the dance teams. I’m betting there are some other perks available?

Jalen Suggs is back. Hard nose baller, shook of that injury and whiffed on a 26 footer
