What a game. Several records set. Batum misses at the buzzer and the Kings win.

What a demoralizing loss for the Clippers. Kawhi plays a near perfect game, they make 26 3s (shooting 57.8%) and Sabonis had 4 fouls before haltime (foul trouble all 2nd half) yet they still lose at home to a Kings team that played the previous night.

Norman Powell coming up short in the clutch is about as predictable as anything out there.
Yeah, his team was down by only one point, and instead of throwing the ball (hot potato) back out to Batum at the three-point line, he could've taken a dribble and shot it himself.

He blew a couple golden opportunties for us in his short stint in Portland as well. I don't know what it is about him but he totally shrinks in those moments.

Twitter is making it sound like he's been a bum all season. This place makes it sound like he's been a near all-star for them. I don't know which is true!

I know that PG with 32 points has minutes restrictions but with only 5 secs left, why not put him in as a decoy for the last play?

Norm completely choked against the Pelicans in the play in tournament last year ..

175 points for both teams. Hard to say what Powell did or didn’t do was the outcome of the game.
My comment wasn't about the game, it was about the end of the game, where there has been a pattern of Powell coming up short on multiple teams.

Watch the last two OTs and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Monk as been a player (10th pick) that has been jumping around and hasn't stuck, except for now it look like he's found a home in Sac Town.

And the Blazers have become who the Kings were. Get used to no playoffs.

Man, I wish we had a player coming off our bench that "chocked" as much as Powell does.

I don't care about the cash.... @THE HCP wants to win.

If the salary cap, luxuary tax, and ownership weren't a thing, I would care about contracts either.

Sadly, obtaining overpaid players often hurts our chances of winning.

Much like what I said about Hart, I like Powell, but he is not starting for the Clippers, and he is playing SF for them now that they have Eric Gordon. So I guess my point is.....who the fuck cares. He is good but easily replaced. I only dwell on past Blazers who are difference-makers, because we have decent role players.

My preference if we are bringing a high-paid player off the bench is to start Sharpe next year at SG and bring Simons off the bench. (With Thybulle)

yeah....I remember one and done playoff runs with Norm....and he had that with the Clips last year, cost us a frickin' first round pick too! Nice dude I'm sure but not a SF by any stretch nor a closer.

Didn’t he score 29 in our only playoff win they had while he was a Blazer?

Unfortunately, they were rolling with 6’10 Michael Porter Jr. at the 3, who Powell had to defend. I remember CJ doing nothing in that game

The Kings played last night and giving it all. Load Management are for the weak.

I have never seen you have a good take.

Load management kwahi had the most minutes of his career yet you don't mention it.

Maybe one day you'll have a good take. Maybe.

I don't remember back then but I watched him tank the series against the Pels and blow a layup that would've won the game...Norm is not a bad basketball player, he's just not clutch from what I've seen. I know he was way undersized but he didn't have that Josh Hart hunger or motor on defense that I thought he'd bring....I don't miss him

Wish I could’ve watch he and Lillard in the backcourt together. They would’ve complimented each other well.
