I didn't even see he was included. And an early 2nd? You're right. I like it for Utah. This is Detroit trying to get more experience around the edges. That's why I'd snipe them for Ausar.

Detroit is weird. The guy they acquired is 29 and was supposed to be of interest to contending teams. If he was great for a rebuilding team then Utah would've kept him.

Cuban's goal was always to build a contender and win a championship. The goal of Jody & the Vulcans sure seems to be keeping the cash flowing and Jody continuing to rake in millions as the executor of the trust. I don't believe they care much about Portland's record unless it impacts that cash flow.
