I am in Miami this week and caught the end of the Heat-Pelican game. Absolute horrible plays were designed by both coaches trying to inbound the ball.
Pels with a 5-second infraction when they were trying to tie it up, and Miami had to call two timeouts because they had no one open, only to turn it over on try #3.
And no the defense was not the reason, it was just piss poor play designs. Do coaches not spend time in practice on this? Even the announcers were stunned.

They were probably just inspired by the Cowboys' last play Sunday.

The struggling Portland Trail Blazers are intensely engrossed in improving the roster with the trade deadline approaching, and they are said to be listening to all overtures, league sources tell Bleacher Report.

The organization remains committed to being opportunistic and creative in trying to surround franchise star Damian Lillard with a roster capable of competing with the best.

There are no plans to tank this season, sources say.

With a revamped cast entering the 2022-23 season, the Trail Blazers had high hopes of making a deep postseason run. Portland (22-25) has lost 13 of its last 19 games, tumbling to 13th in the Western Conference standings.

Shooting, size and depth are areas of need. Portland is dead last in points off the bench (24.0 points).

The trade deadline is Feb. 9

I saw that too. Unbelievable.

Heat are after Josh Hart. They say he's a Heat kind of Player.

Where did you see this rumor?

I don't see anyone that would even make sense for Portland on the Heat roster (given age, salary, position, etc).
Pretty much this. Miami is even smaller than we are. Their starting front court are 6'9" and 6'5" respectively.

If he's such a Heat kind of player maybe they want to give up Oladipo and Dedmond for him. I'd be cool with that.

Or maybe he's such a Heat kind of player that we send him and Nurk to the Heat for Bam.

Oladipo and Dedmond better come with a 1st round pick. Otherwise, no thank you.

im not sure you watch oladipo & dedmon often

that would be a bad trade

Didn't they have the best record in the East last year? Who did they lose that made them so small?

Only player Heat would consider trading Bam for is Dame and even then, probably not.

Lakers down 23 at the half. Another comeback win?

wizards won at the mavs

our rivals losing is always a good thing, but can we start winning and put a good run of wins, like 5-0, 5-1, 7-2, 8-3, 9-4, 10-4, 10-5

were gonna need to in order to move up in the standings

Rumor on Raptor forum from "interesting source": OG wants out.

Dallas just finished a 4-game homestand 1-3 with a bad looking loss to the Washington Wizards.
Luka Dončić committed a stupid foul (which was unsuccessfully challenged), shoving Kyle Kuzma along the side line. Kuzma made one of two free throws, and Dallas had 5 seconds left to score after using their last timeout.

They didn't even get a shot off. The first inbounds pass to Luka was slapped out of bounds by the wizards, and the next in bounds attempt was caught by Luka then stolen by the wizards on luka's pass attempt.

the Mavs are 3-8 in their last 11 games following a 7-game win streak.

I expect Dallas to be buyers at the deadline. Luka has made it pretty clear he wants more talent. I don't know what his contract is but giving him any reason to leave Dallas once he's a FA is a huge mistake.

just saw something on ig saying some “mystery team” offered three frp for og…. Prolly bs but probably worth saying

Pelicans are on an even bigger slide

they fattened up their record with an extremely heavy stretch of home games (17 of 24 games at home). And they were 11 games over .500. Then their schedule evened out and they have gone 3-10 since then

of course, Zion has missed 10 straight games, and 19 games this season, but that's his M.O.

That mystery OG trade would already be done if it were true. That is what the Raptors want. Not what they’re gonna get.

Injuries killing the Pels. I can't even remember the last time BI was on the floor. They are out essentially two all-star level players.

Dallas, just like us, has a pretty weak roster overall. If the shooters aren’t hitting they’re in for trouble because they don’t play any defense.

Can’t wait for Clippers vs Lakers playoff match up.
