Who was putting down Ausar? I saw lots of people saying he was the Thompson brother who likely had the more NBA-ready game.

that's what I remember

it seemed like there were red flags for every player taken in the lottery not named Wemby; and most of those red flags are still flapping in the wind. The Thompson twins were considered uber-athletes with a toolbox of skills that didn't include the shooting tool. That's been true so far, for both. Ausar just happens to be on a team that starts him and gives him lots of minutes. He leads rookies in minutes. Still, a rookie averaging a double-double from the wing is impressive

at this point, it looks like the 2023 draft will be talked about as the 2023-draft-class-not-named-Wemby

And Amen has been hurt longer than even Scoot. He has looked almost as bad as scoot when he did play.

I really feel, at this point, it's not necessary any more to attach the disclaimer about ridiculously small sample size when talking about anything to do with this season. We just don't know anything substantial yet about the rookies except Wemby is going to be good; Holmgren too

probably around the trade deadline is the earliest you can start to draw conclusions, and even then, they could be wrong

Wembanyama himself hasn't shot the ball well in 3 out of the last 4 games. The NBA is adjusting to him and learning his weaknesses. Many times a big man will get the correct position against Wemby and stop him in his tracks.

That’s why I said “looked.”

At this point the only thing we can really use is the eye test. That’s it. Stats need more data to be meaningful.

Wemby's arms are so fucking long it made me think of that line from Smash Mouth, "I want your arms to wrap around me twice." I think Wemby could somehow do that. I think he could wrap his arms around his back and still clap in the front. (RIP Steve Harwell).

Between Tyrese Maxey and Tyrese Haliburton, they are battling for the new best #0 in the league.

A chokehold is just beyond reproach. If he were a Blazer I would be sickened. How can GSW fans and organization continue to enable this shit? You and I both know he will continue this after his slap on the wrist 3 game suspension.

It is bad for the league. I also didn’t like how he spoke to Ant Edwards. I know that kind of talk goes down but I just don’t like it. You know what I am referring to I am sure.

Coming from behind and putting someone in the sleeper, that's assault at a minimum.
