Some certainly thought he would have been the player to target.

Honestly, everything I've read about Ausar suggests that he's got everything needed to be an effective if not outstanding point guard. I'm starting to think he might actually be the perfect complement to Ant and Shae.

Henderson was the right pick, though I'd probably have preferred to trade down with Detroit and get Ausar.

Very well documented that Bigs take three to four years to get their game in order.
Footwork, Fouls, positioning as well as ball handling shooting and outlet passes.
Not saying PG is easy but it’s not what 7 footers need to learn.
