Am I crazy for thinking that a fan should be able to flip off a player?

I'm pretty sure I have yelled "fuck you" at a player...... I was all the way up in the nosebleeds.. but still.

I'm ALL for heckling players, and don't care about foul language or gestures. But this guy, at his age, was out of line - have a little common decency. The vehemence and vitriol with which he flipped off Westbrook was palpable. It was one of those times that makes me realize that we're not all that far removed from gladiators fighting to the death in the Coliseum.

So flipping off is okay, as long as the vitriol is not palpable? Come on man... fuck that. Let the fans get riled up. As long as they don't step onto the court, or throw things, I don't see a problem. The players today are so coddled.

If he had been in his 20's it would have been fine for him to act like an asshole? What if he was 95, would he have been so old that it would have been fine? Would it be fine for my 6 year old cousin to do this to Westbrook?

Technically the arena does state "no improper gestures or foul language" or something like that. I hear it before every game at the Rose Garden. Recently its featured Meyers with a baseball bat threatening to Tonya Harding anyone who gets caught doing said activities.

John Wall playing like shit won't hurt Dame's reputation as a top guard in the league. Never understood why people would put Wall in the same convo as Dame. I understand Westbrook/CP3/Curry/Kyrie, but Wall's all around game isn't anything like the other 5 elite PG's.

Wall nearly averaged 20/10 last season.

Bulls off to a good start. Why isn't there more hype around them? They're starting lineup is awesome.

Yes, no, yes.

I give Westbrick props for not engaging with that fan.
The fan was clearly out of line.

Hey King, would you rather we paid Evan Turner $70m to have a ho hum opening night, or paid Parsons $94.8m to miss opening night and training camp due to injury?

I'd rather Turner. Parsons is dead to me.

How? They have one, maybe two above average NBA players and no bench.
Dallas has 40% of GS's 73-9 starting lineup. Plus Dirk asks Deron are very good and Wes is okay but a fighter.

New Orleans needs to trade those guys at the deadline for 1st round picks. Go into the offseason with 3 first round picks and cap space.

Would you guys trade Meyers and a late 1st for Holiday or Evans? That would give us an amazing bench.

We already have the best bench in the league.

Would've been awesome if RW went after him and got banned.

According to the fan that get ejected Westbrook called him a fat ass and to sit down so he responded with a double f you. Said he apologized for the gesture. Got removed from his seat but was able to watch the game still in another seat in the arena.

They're not starting Okafor and he makes no sense on that team. They need shooting... Meyers Leonard... See where I'm going with this?

Pls some Jahlil Okafor.
Watching him operate last night was so nice.
He's young, but I saw a couple plays defensively that made me go "pls neil Okafor pls."
As long as Portland doesn't have to give up Lillard... Okafor pls.

He's a urologist, of course he was pissed!!

Well played.

He's a full time urologist and a self-proclaimed part time comedian. I think if I was one of his patients I'd be looking for a new doctor - and a new comedian. I wouldn't want a guy with that kind of temper wielding medical instruments anywhere near my private parts, or my funny bone.

Yeah, the shitty, average 40%...

And we do.. Now imagine if we replaced Meyers with Jrue Holiday...

I think it's more of an "anything goes in the upper bowl" kind of thing.

Westbrick with 47 points, on 42 shots.
Dipo with 21 points on 17 shots.
With a minute left in OT.

Efficient guard play.

Are you serious? It was the addition of Bogut that made them relevant. Now he's gone and they suck. Barnes had 31 tonight, btw.

First OKC almost loses to Philly and now PHX takes them to OT. A wins a win is true but thats disturbing.

Terrence Ross, Andre Miller, and Mo Williams have had 50+ before. 31 points makes him good?

It was the addition of Bogut that made who relevant, the Warriors???

Please don't tell me the reason the Warriors have been relevant the past couple years has been because of Andrew Bogut. If you really think that then I worry for you.

Tim Frazier deserved more minutes, not just because he's a damn good player but because playing him 10-15 minutes a game would have made us that much stronger.
We can't afford to play half the minutes with just one of CJ and Dame and with no other natural guard. We need to at least give Napier real minutes and ideally bring another combo/shooting guard for 10 minuts of the bench.
Our best lineup is no doubt playing both Dame and CJ. Both of them are small skilled guards. Then why do we choose to play so many minutes with just one guard and two SFs? Situationally this might work, but as our regular rotation?!
