Houston 64 free throws.

Unless I fell asleep and missed a few.

Rockets have shot 60 free throws.

60.

Free throws.
Part of that is because the Clippers intentionally sent Howard to the line for more than 20 freethrows. You can't commit fouls intentionally and then whine about how many FTs they shot.

They also sent Harden to FT line intentionally in the final minute.

Kingspeed has maintained that the Blazers would handle the Warriors because the Warriors can't handle our front line.

Although he may be a bit optimistic in that assessment, clearly the Warriors cannot hope to handle the Grizzlies front line.

I was at this game and that's not what I saw at all. I was actually surprised with how well gs defended the grizzlies bigs and kept them off the glass, especially when draymond was on the much bigger gasol. To their credit. The Warriors will typically put together an 8 or 9 minutes stretch where they completely shut down the other team and z-bo and gasol seemed to stop that whenever I thought it was starting. I think the w's were hurt by some dumb fouls early in the game, and I don't think the refs helped them out at all, but speights and ezeli played well enough to make up for it. This game was won the mem backcourt. Conley was out of his mind hitting everything, off hand runners from the free throw line and even banked in what looks like it was supposed to be a pass to Randolph down low. And Allen was a beast on defense. The gs backcourt was 13 of 34. That has nothing to do with their bigs and was certainly the reason Memphis won the game. Oh well, get them next game.

John Wall has five fractures in his hand and wrist. This playoffs has been tough on point guards.

(Wall and Conley are undefeated, though.)

If I was TNT I would throw money at him. ESPN is so dumb.
Bill Simmons can be (and often is) a jackass but he knows what the f' he is doing.

I can't believe he loses Grantland though. That has to be a hard pill for him to swallow.

I like Bill. I don't always agree with him, but I like him. Seems like a good guy.

That would be a hard pill to swallow but Bill Simmons is going to get PAID by someone else and he might be asked to start another site like Grantland. There are also a few big names on Grantland who have mentioned their contracts are up around the same time Simmons is. I would think that a big issue with Simmons contract negotiation is that he was pissed by why he was suspended and wanted some extra power to make sure he wasn't suspended over something stupid like that again.
This could be a negotiation move as well, ESPN is giving up a lot with letting him walk. Not only does he run Grantland, he hosts 2 podcasts that are always top downloads on Itunes and does the 30 for 30 stuff.

My first thought was " Why would TNT want him?" He has zero on air personality. But then I realized TNT has Kenny and Shaq........

If they keep Shaq then they are a bunch of idiots. He is the worst EVER!
Shaq should just have his own show on nba tv and have Chris Webber take over (he has done it quite a bit and I enjoyed him more as an analyst than an announcer)

ESPN made Simmons into the household name he is. Without ESPN, he doesn't have the same platform.

Going from ESPN to foxsports is a huge dropoff.

Can anyone explain to me how Noah is fined the rough equivalent of $120.00 for the average joe for doing something that would undoubtedly cause the normal (read not-rich) person to lose their job and probably be shunned from their industries? I know this is a common complaint for these situations but I am genuinely curious. Even Ron Artest got to come back after a year (or two?). Crazy!

You talking about his hair?

Man, playing against the Rockets is a good power forward's wet dream. Zero defense on Griffin.

That's why I think we'd still be in the playoffs if SA had beaten NOP on the last night of the season.

I envy the Clippers offense. Good ball movement, open threes, great in transition, easy lobs. We should be able to do the same with our roster...
