Feel terrible for Murray but no sympathy for the Nuggets. This is awful for them. Murray will miss this year and most of next year (if not all). After next season they need to pay both Gordon and MPJ. Their championship window just closed for the foreseeable future.
 
If Nuggets get 3 or 4 seed, Jokic will be MVP. If they fall to 6th, and Blazers move up, the door is open for Dame.
 
Murray hadn't played for over a week too - so the idea that this is somehow on Malone is silly. Injuries happen (as we know better than any fanbase).
 
Murray was their closer. End of games is where it will be most felt. They still have plenty of talent but think about those 3's he hit against Utah in the playoffs.

that might be, although Matthews was a lot more glue guy than #2 option. I wonder how Jokic/Murray rank in 'assist-to-one-man' stats...?

Denver's problem is that they are thin at guards, much like Portland is thin at forwards

jokic is their closer, hes clutch as it gets
 
on the other hand, if murray still has that blonde girlfriend, hell get a lot of blowjobs while he has a lot of free time

How many game-winners have you seen him take/make compared to Murray?
Jokic is an awesome player and is excellent at finding open shooters, but centers are rarely closers these days.
 
Sucks for Murray, the Nuggets and NBA fans overall.

Was playing the best basketball of his career after a slow start and watching him work the two man game with Jokic is some of the most enjoyable basketball to watch.

I guess when compared to The Lakers, Clippers, Jazz, Nets, and Suns, the Nuggets were OK to root for.

But I can't say I found it easy to root for Murray or Jokic. Of course, I would love to have them on the Blazers because I respect their game, but they do both flop and whine a little bit too much for my taste.

trust me, hes great finisher and hes clutch, hes their closer, not murray

The only way they are to be blamed is if the game was out of reach and they are still playing them. (Let's call that the stotts). Golden state won by more than 2 possessions... was it out of reach with 50 seconds left?

But not a contender. This sucks. Having destroyed my hopes for my favorite team, God has moved on to my next favorite.

I think we should loan the Nuggets Dame just for the rest of the season and playoffs.

Not if Murray makes that shot he was driving for when he got hurt.

Denver was down 7 with 0:50 left. I don't think I would consider the game over. I believe Nugget fans are saying the Malone has a history of riding his starters too much (a common fan complaint).

My memory isn't always the greatest. What major injury happened to a Blazer in a 4th quarter blowout over the last 8 years?

Jokic has been very good in the clutch at the end of games.
