he's flawed, mainly by wild shot selection, but he's not a "negative" player, IMO.

He shoots a lot wide open threes and misses them at an alarming rate. The Lakers themselves beat the Rockets in 2020 by simply not guarding Westbrook at all. On top of that, he's not a good defender, he takes bad shots when teammates are playing better than him, and he makes HORRIBLE decisions in close games. That makes him a negative. Straight up, if you want to win, Washington won the Russ for KCP deal. Even if Portland didn't make a trade, they would beat the Lakers in a playoff series. Keep in mind LeBron is in his 19th year and has played a ton of playoff minutes.

Shams just regurgitates what others have reported. The guy reports that Iggy was heading back to GS per his source and Iggy called him out on it as he only told the NYTimes and Shams reported a 1/2 hour after the times reported it. looks like there is a real contest between Woj and Shams (plus a couple of others) about who can 'break' the most NBA news. Woj is the king of the hill, so the usurpers need to use all their weapons. It's kind of entertaining actually

Yeah...very true you need NBA minutes to learn the game. Same situation with O'Neal in Portland.
