Yeah that trade would be historically bad. The Blazers lose 5 games and lose 7 points on offense while only gaining 3 points on defense.
how lucky did LA get that Schroeder didn’t take that 80mill lol
Straight trash Homey
Since we frequently rail on Neil for bidding against himself

Are they lucky? The Lakers are a weaker team without him and can't just reapportion the money elsewhere. For a team with a limited contention window, I think losing Schroeder hurts them more than saving the cash helps them (though, maybe their owner feels otherwise). I think the Lakers are actually worse this offseason--I don't think the players they picked up are worth losing Caruso, Kuzma, Caldwell-Pope and Schroeder (and Harrell is a useful player but for some reason didn't do anything last season in LA).
Obviously, Westbrook is the big wild card, but I don't think he fits at all with James and Davis and any possessions he's taking is beneficial to the defense because it means James and Davis aren't using them.
Jason Kidd getting scorched on social media right now. This started it, but now a lot of tweets linking it to his domestic abuse.
I not trying to defend Kidd, as I wouldn't want him as coach. But I don't believe he is near the only couch that has done these tactics to players throughout the years. He's a piece of shit. I don't know why he keeps getting jobs.

Actually he’s a piece of shit because he beats women.Yeah, no kidding. Anyone blasting him over that has never coached, or at least never cared about the quality of product resulting from their coaching. Every driven coach can think of at least one time they took it too far, but the players usually learned as much of a lesson as the coach in those instances and the ends partially justified the means.
But hey, social media outrage is the cool thing these days, so carry on.
It’s weird that they put Rodman as 37 years old. The oldest he was on the Bulls was 36. He was 37 when he played for LA.Funny, I see no bad players in the 2nd picture.
Which makes him a multidimensional piece of shitActually he’s a piece of shit because he beats women.
I’ve coached for 25 plus years. I’ve been in upper management for longer, and I’ve never called someone a piece of shit or verbally abused someone to the point that they broke mentally.Yeah, no kidding. Larry Sanders flat out quit after being verbally abused by Kidd. Checked himself into a hospital and then quitConfirmation bias. People hate him (justifiably) for things he did in his personal life, and use that in a coaching example of Kidd taking it too far to mean he shouldn't be allowed to be around other people. People who react that way are equally shitty pieces of humanity.
Name calling like that isn't my thing, but it certainly is for A LOT of basketball and football coaches. I don't know what the last part about mentally breaking someone is referring to, so I can't comment on that.
For some reason players still love playing for Kidd though
What players?

Okay, I looked up the article for more info than the twitter clip, and I'm going to chalk that up to a terrible take.

"Sanders’ issues predated Kidd, who was in his first season as Bucks coach.
But Kidd’s tactics certainly didn’t help. Sanders got suspended for drugs while away from the team then never played for Milwaukee again, taking a buyout. He entered a program for anxiety, depression and mood disorders and spent a couple of years outside the NBA, returning only for a brief stint with the Cavaliers in 2017."
Mental midgets gonna break regardless, it's just a matter of when. If you can't handle it in practice, you can't handle it in games.
Yeah, I'm heartless. It's called real world.
