You are right. But isn't that a sad reflection on society that people would hate a player because of who their parents are? I honestly can't think of a time where these guys have said anything TOO outlandish. I kinda root for 'em.Too bad his dads a huge douche or people would probably like him.
No Doc Rivers. Also of note for the Blazers:

No mention of Stotts (even in the 'also receiving votes' category). One might suggest that Stott's best coaching quality is his 'Manager/Motivator' of people - yet no mention....
Doc is listed @ #4 as a motivator. No Doc Rivers.

I take that back, I think Lonzo once said in an interview that rappers today are better than back in the day or something like that. That actually is enough for me to hate him.....nevermind.

The Jazz are so fucking stupid... to give Gobert 40 million per season with his limited skill set regardless of how elite he is at those skills is ludicrous and will prevent them from contending. Ryan Smith the Jazz's owner and his 1.3 million dollar net worth can't afford huge luxury tax bills so he essentially... for the lifetime of the deal, dedicated 1/4 of his available salary to spend on a player whose skills are useful but the summation of which are outdated for a max contract.

Kind of funny that he says that once Westbrook leaves the Western Conference and they'll only meet 2 times a year.Huge News:

Um... yeah, his net worth is reportedly 1.3 BILLION. Just a typo. That can't be right. The owner of the team can't have a net worth less than what players earn per year on a Vet Minimum Contract... Do you mean $1.3 Billion?
I hear you and the problem I had when he came out with his demand for the supermax is still there. He isn't multifaceted enough to get that kind of money. Yes he's an all NBA center but I am expecting that we get Nurk to re-sign for in the neighborhood of 20-25 million and if he won't go for an extension like that this offseason, as much as I love Nurk, you ship his ass out of here for the best offer.you can either overpay a player, which in this case is obvious and gobert isnt worth that money or you can lose the player
for utah jazz is pretty simple, better to overpay than to lose a player like gobert, cause without him, theyre not a playoff team
after all, rudy gobert achieved this in his nba career:
NBA All-Star (2020)
All-NBA Second Team (2017)
2× All-NBA Third Team (2019, 2020)
2× NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2018, 2019)
4× NBA All-Defensive First Team (2017–2020)
NBA blocks leader (2017)

if you ask utah jazz fans, a lot of them will say gobert is their best playerNo offense to you, CJ, or Gobert, but these type of huge contracts for 2nd tier players (like Gobert and CJ) are the death knell for small market teams.
I know, I know, your stats are great and relevant, but regardless, Gobert is not a difference maker (neither is CJ).
youd have no choice but to give it to himWould you give Gobert 207M if he is a Blazers 2 time DPOY or let him walk?
Wtf is that contract? They are dumb af
Not a difference maker? How do you figure? His WS, BPM, VORP--basically any advanced stat that attempted to measure overall on-court impact shows him to be a difference-maker. I'd venture to say that he's more important to the Jazz' success than Mitchell is.I know, I know, your stats are great and relevant, but regardless, Gobert is not a difference maker (neither is CJ).
