Look at Dames shooting form, he needs a lot of power to shot, that's halfcourt. It's not a regulation court. That's probably an NBA 3

I don't think they're done. I don't see Wall and Harden as complementary anymore than Harden and Russ but maybe they do. I still think they're gong to struggle but we won't have to wait long to see.
Will be curious to see if re-infection starts to happen.
There was already a similarly high number of players that had it before the bubble. Guessing players got it between the bubble and now that was not reported. That makes for a good portion of players that have been exposed.
It's at the Blazers' practice facility as you can see in the video below. A bunch of us have been given the tour. Guarantee the courts are to NBA specs.
I would think we quietly just dont see this tested ever again... Especially with all the states legalizing it, even republican states like the South Dakota, Montana, and Arizona. 10-20 years ago when they started testing for weed it was judged more harshly.
The league probably wanted to clean up PR like the jail Blazer yellow hummer on I5 with weed and Damon wrapping it in tin foil at an airport. Seems its just not an issue any longer.
I would love to agree with you but Kobe never played for or signed with another team, he was a draft acquisition. Do you consider BRoy and LMA drafted by someone else? It's telling that out of this group, only Magic was drafted by the Lakers.

I do think I'd put Oscar Robinson in Steph's place.
And this is considered a BAD thing? Props to the Lakers front office. Some of my favorite Blazers teams over the years have been loaded with players we didn't draft. It's telling that out of this group, only Magic was drafted by the Lakers.

Magic was the obvious, unquestioned #1 pick, and Kobe basically traded himself to the Lakers. No props deserved for either.Props for getting Kobe and drafting Magic. But I could have signed Kareem , Shaq and LBJ.
wwhat if it helps them play better?Yeah, just let the teams regulate it. I mean after the game...who cares. (It helps them sleep) Before the game is another matter.

Kinda wish they still had rules of that nature in place, honestly. Lose a player in FA who gets paid more than MLE by his new team, you get an extra compensatory FRP. Different slots depending on the size of contract received by the departing player (eg, top 5 for max deal, after lottery for 1.5x MLE, between 1st/2nd round for 1-1.5x MLE)? I dunno, maybe wouldn't be the worst idea.Yeah they did benefit from the rules back in the day where you got compensated for losing a player in free agency (Gail Goodrich to Jazz)
They made out like bandits with numerous picks for an over the hill player.
It's only a BAD thing if you believe there should be a level playing ground. And this is considered a BAD thing? Props to the Lakers front office. Some of my favorite Blazers teams over the years have been loaded with players we didn't draft.
But you know this going in right? It’s nothing new. It won’t change. It's only a BAD thing if you believe there should be a level playing ground.
This has nothing to do with how good the Lakers front office, which is kind of the point. They've sucked, and still were able to get great players. Certainly, LBJ and Davis are prime examples of this.
wwhat if it helps them play better?
Absolutely agreed, just pointing out that Laker front offices don't deserve to be praised - yes, including Jerry West. But you know this going in right? It’s nothing new. It won’t change.
Like moving to Portland and then complaining about the rain. It be what it be.
Kobe was drafted by another team, who had the intention of playing him. Being a total ass, he said he wouldn't report to training camp - he demanded to be traded TO THE LAKERS!
You may see this differently, but in my mind, this shows that the big market teams blah blah blah. That's why I left him off, and I stick to that.
This is very different from BRoy and LMA. The primary reason they weren't drafted by the Blazers has to do with the rules about trading picks in consecutive years.

I consider YOUR reasoning stupid, too, so I guess you're even. The former Hornets immediately traded Kobe for Vlade on draft day. There wasn't any delay to training camp.
So you give the former Hornets credit for drafting a disgruntled Kobe for a few minutes who never signed a contract let alone spent an hour with the team?
I consider your reasoning stupid. Whatever team unofficially will have the draft rights to a player at the end of the day of the draft is most certainly considered the team who drafted him.
lol, proving my point. Small markets have a much harder time accumulating talent. The Lakers and West certainly deserve praise. Its not like Kobe and Magic were surrounded with shit talent as LBJ in Cleveland, KG in Minny, Anthony Davis in NOP
That isn't really true.Kobe was drafted by another team, who had the intention of playing him. Being a total ass, he said he wouldn't report to training camp - he demanded to be traded TO THE LAKERS!
