How many chances will the Thunder get during these playoffs? Twice, they got 4 point plays against the Grizzlies, and now being able to shoot 3 FTs at the end of the game against the Clippers. Keep in mind this is the same team that got blocked a few years back and was wrongly called goaltending. Lame.

I missed that. What is rule 8 section 2?

Also, did you guys see the Pacers only had 23 rebounds tonight, lol?
It was kind of vague

"If a player has his hand in contact with the ball and an opponent hits the hand causing the ball to go out of bounds, the team whose player had his hand on the ball shall retain possession."

It looked like he had the ball with both hands. Barnes hit his left hand and he lost the ball. Jackson looked to me like his right hand may have hit the ball last. But, to me Barnes caused the ball to go out of bounds even if Jackson technically had contact last.

Wow. Interesting.

Clippers got jobbed. That was probably a foul on Barnes but the refs did not call it. They went to the booth to see who the ball went off and it was clearly off of Jackson. Clippers ball. I agree with doc being so upset. Imagine the exact same scenario tomorrow in game 5 costing us the game. All you guys would be asking for the officials head.

Bodyman has a good interpretation of the rule. Actually, that happens quite often... there's a TON of times I see it just get knocked out of the hand, but given to the same player that it clearly went off of... and reading that rule makes it make sense. I think they need to change it though... it sounds bass ackwards.

I understand the logic, but the officials excuse after the game was that the two angles they saw on replay did not give inconclusive evidence to reverse the call. Which is absolute bullshit because everybody who watched the replay on tv clearly saw that the ball was out on Jackson. This combined with the bail out foul call Westbrook got after taking another terrible clutch shot, is the reason I say the clips got jobbed. I hate the clippers too but for the sake of the integrity of the league going forward, these replays need to be called correctly and tonight that was not the case.

Agree with Chuck and Kenny, its frustrating to watch execution this poor by both teams at the end of the game. CP3 loses ball up by 2 with 20s. Jackson blows easy 3 on 1 fast break. Westbrook takes horrible praire 3 point shot when down 2. CP3 commits dumb foul. CP3 turns ball over without even attempting game winner. Clips don't foul during final second.

How is it that OKC always gets these calls? I mean, we've been burned so many times with replays where it's off us, but the reason the ball went out was because a defender was fouling our guy. And the refs follow the letter of the law.

Not in OKC apparently

I only watched the last three minutes of the Clippers - OKC debacle. The refs flat out 100% handed that game to OKC. There were two bad calls that went in LAC favor right in the middle, but without the refs' interference Durant's miracle threes would not have been enough. I really hate the NBA sometimes.

I can't stand Westbrook and Durant, but I did enjoy watching Cp3 turn the ball over because of "over acting". All he had to do was take the foul, but no, he had to jump into the air for some reason. Was he was trying to make it look like he was in the act of shooting? (from 60 feet) Whatever he was doing...... it backfired.

I never saw the replay of the foul on Cp3 when he fouled Westbrook on the three. So I am not sure if it was legitimate or not, but it sure did not appear to be a foul. Did anyone see it in slow mo?

I look for the Clips to come out with a chip on their shoulder and win a very emotional game 6. Game seven will be fun to watch even though I hate both teams.

If, at that time of the game, the question has to be asked "Did you see it in slo-mo" then it shouldn't be a foul. With the game on the line, and 6 seconds left... that's not a time for a ticky-tack foul unless the NBA wants it to be.

Durant plays bad and its all over for OKC. He's that team.

Durant had an awful game in the first round that Reggie Jackson won for them. Last night, he was awful and Westbrook saved him.

Not in OKC apparently

Not so fast. Apparently there's a rule that if the ball goes out because someone hit his hand, the ball goes to the team that got slapped. Apparently, this was the right call.

I'm generally not a conspiracy theory guy in the NBA but the market does want LeBron vs Durant in the finals

I kind of agree with you, but on the other hand the refs had a better view than the one camera angle I saw. It looked like a bad call to me, but I was wondering if they ever showed another
view.

Yeah... I've only seen one angle of it... but I don't think that elbow "touch" made his shot so bad.

Hahaha, riight. That's karma right there.

At yesterdays OKC vs Clippers game, Tony Brothers was seen giving KD's mom a hug and greeting her before the game. Note: With Brothers officiating OKC Games, they have won 11 straight..... HMMMMMMMM.

He is the worst ref in the game. Hands down.

Oh and Doc Rivers was fined 250k by Silver for stating that they got screwed by the refs... SMH at this league right now. I aint watching this crap if or when Portland is eliminated or after they win the championship.

250K- wow. He was wrong though. That rule 8 section 2 or whatever it is clearly supported the refs ruling. If the ball goes out of bounds because you slap the hand of the guy with the ball, you don't get possession. Barnes slapped Jackson's hand and that's why it went out of bounds. OKC should get possession in that scenario. Clippers had lots of chances to win the game and blew it. Doc should've kept his mouth shut.

I disagree. I don't think the rule supports it, but I've posted that in length in other threads.

NVM that was a rumor. It will prob be something like that.

Watching The Starters. They just pointed out that te Wizards outrebounded Indiana 62 to 23 last night. That is unbelievable.
