you are basically saying you believe this off-season will be different so don't make judgements[/B]. That's fine. But where was it I made judgements about Olshey's current off-season...other that mentioning his history?
lol again, where did i say it would be different? im saying wait to trash him until the season starts. and given his history and his lack of assets, i'll be there with you.

why do we keep rehashing this?

This is some OLive level discussion over nonsense here. Let's move on?

Powell just posted a picture on his IG story of him working out in a blazer shirt. Let the speculation begin!!

then let me amend "would be" to "hoping it would be"...is that better?

i don't think i glossed over them as much as i have come to terms with the reality of our situation. It would take nothing short of a miracle to make this a contending roster. I guess also that it's the hopeful fanatic in me to want something to be done-- seeing Phoenix and Milwaukee in the finals also contributed to it perhaps.

But I also don't understand what good it would do to throw shade at Olshey for moves that Memphis and New Orleans just made. I don't want to see the worst in people. We also have no choice but to give him a shot, no?
Unfortunately, you are correct on both of these statements.

Ultimately that is the root cause of all our frustrations. I guess we call all pray for that miracle.

Masai is upto something. This gives him a potential 11 mil expiring to play with this next week.

Knicks.....and....Mavericks? No other playoff team has that kind of capspace. 20 million for GTJ is patently insane though, and this is from someone that likes him a lot.

No moves today, BORING.

I'm cool with all of this besides "veers off path". What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Guys can't cut anymore? No hesi?

I think it means don't make a non -basketball change of direction for the sole purpose of flopping after initiating contact with a defender.

Yeah, suddenly jumping into someone to the side of you or who is not in your direct path to draw a foul.

This would be something like that sliding left or right to get contact on a three. Dame is gonna have to start just shooting the ball to make the shot rather than try to get the foul.
Tiresome how much it happens all over the league. Lillard included.
I liken it to soccer and the flopping. The problem is every once in a while it works and they get a penalty kick which can change a game dramatically in soccer. Less so in Basketball but obviously if you get a call on a three it can make a difference.

Dame does. He practices making the shot with the “foul.” He makes those double clutches.
