If you follow the game, yes.Are we supposed to know what the hell an MPJR is?
Dude. Your wife is the best at giving them. Better go ask for one. You'll thank me later. Are we supposed to know what the hell an MPJR is?
I knew who it was and I even read the story prior to this and I don't follow the game (or work for an NBA team)If you follow the game, yes.

I didn’t read the story and didn’t know of a player called MPJR. Is that weird? Do the majority of people know who MPJR is and I missed the boat?I knew who it was and I even read the story prior to this and I don't follow the game (or work for an NBA team)

Not sure why players would be upset about DeRozan being traded and saying there's no loyalty. Talk about hypocritical. Players are allowed to show no loyalty but teams aren't?
Well, we know he lied to the fans but we don’t know what he told the team. I am convinced that he told them he wanted out years before he left and they rolled the dice and called his bluff..... only he wasn’t bluffing.
It should be noted that the CP3 trade is the only significant trade Olshey has ever made...and that was 1. while with the Clippers 2. in 2011 and 3. assisted by David Stern. (The other biggish trade was Baron Davis and a first for nobody. The first turned into Kyrie Irving. It is only fair to note that that trade seemed forced by Sterling's dislike of Baron Davis...)

I think people are overstating the risk in trading CJ for Butler... CJ has a terrible contract at 26-30 mil per year the next 3 season... at worst it is a salary dump... it’s not like this team was winning playoff games with CJ... what is there to lose?!Philly making a run at Butler. With the guards Portland has acquired, I think you could quite easily fill 2/3s of CJ's production at guard and get more than 100% of his production at SF with Butler. (because defense)
I know it would be a risk but that is the only move left that I can see where Portland really takes a step forward.
How do you know philly want's Butler?Philly making a run at Butler. With the guards Portland has acquired, I think you could quite easily fill 2/3s of CJ's production at guard and get more than 100% of his production at SF with Butler. (because defense)

Hey, have you heard anything interesting? Just in general about the teamPhilly making a run at Butler. With the guards Portland has acquired, I think you could quite easily fill 2/3s of CJ's production at guard and get more than 100% of his production at SF with Butler. (because defense)

Excellent post. The Blazers would like Butler. They just don't want to give up anything for him. They also fear losing him after one year. If after a year with Dame you can't convince him to stay (for more money than he could get elsewhere) then that is a franchise problem.
At least you took a shot with a player that fits better here than CJ who is just too much duplication with Dame.

So then why would Minnesota take that? If CJ sucks so bad then they're guaranteed to get better packages.I think people are overstating the risk in trading CJ for Butler... Dude, I'm using his logic against him lol..He doesn't suck. Butler has only 1 year left and is a risky move. Suitors will lower offers for that exact reason .
