Meyer's, oh hell he's a having a bust out year. The guy never picked up a roundball till senior year in hs then left after just couple years of college. Its time! He's just now getting a natural feel for the game and will become the next Swen Nader!

I know I’ve mentioned I’m not a big fan of Tobias Harris or giving up picks. I like this because 2019 is supposed to be a bad year for the draft AND we get rid of Meyers!

Easy yes for me, but Clippers are very unlikely to dump Harris for a highly protected pick. They can get a better return than that.

Well, the Clippers have this thing called "too many guaranteed contracts".

They might not be able to pull off an adequate trade to fix their issue. I.e., the Blazers couldn't trade Aminu and Harkless for him because it doesn't fix the Clippers problem.

It sounds to me like Magic is already making excuses. In spite of having LeBron fall in his lap, and the appeal of the LA lifestyle, he hasn't been able to pull off any trades or land any significant free agents. Just look at who he's added since signing LeBron, all while whiffing on PG13 and Kawhi, who both said they wanted to play for the Lakers:

Rajon Rondo - headcase, can't shoot.
Lance Stephenson - headcase, can't shoot.
JaVale McGee - headcase, can't shoot.

Now he's trying to make it sound like these are the types of players he'd intended to surround LeBron with all along. Yeah right, I'm sure that was part of his sales pitch to LeBron. Hey BronBron, forget shooting, I'm going to surround you with guys who can't shoot. I already got you Lonzo, now we're adding Rajon and Lance. You won't mind getting quadruple teamed on every possession, will you? You can handle that you're the greatest player in the world. You don't need a Big 3. Forget PG13 and Kawhi. You can do it all on your own and go down in history as the (second... cough,cough) greatest Laker ever!

It could also be a thinly veiled cheap shot at Mike D'Antoni. They have a feud going back several years.

In any case, glad Magic is running the show in LA. Great player, shitty coach and shitty exec.

Magic's whole career was built on "Penetration". if you know what I mean.

I know he was, and he was strong as an ox. He didn't have great natural ability much like Meyers. Seems it took a great while for him to take off in the pros and contribute.
 
i trembler him starting in the aba and coming over to the bucks.
