Between Philly, Milwaukee, and New York one of these teams has to convince themselves that CJ is better than the shot creation options that are currently on their rosters, right?

Gobert is a pretty good defender, but it is interesting to me how a 3-time Defensive Player of the year can look so average. There is more to defense than shot-blocking, especially when teams are taking 40-50 3s a game. I just don't see how he or any center can be voted defender of the year these days. Not with how the game has changed.

Those are the obvious teams but I imagine there are some that have a high value for CJ that aren't so obvious to us but yeah, those are the teams I would imagine would be calling about CJ for sure. The only one that there were reports that they wanted CJ this season were the Knicks. The Knicks wouldn't offer what we want which is better talent or at least better fit to help Dame now but they could have pieces a third team might want that can trade us something to help us now.

The question that I think is more important than what teams have a high value on CJ is, does that high value meet up closely enough with Neil's overvalue, to allow a deal to get done?

Funny how all message boards are about the same. Just went over to one of the Jazz sites. The teams and players might have different names but the posts are all pretty similar after a loss. The coach made no adjustments, the refs cost them about 7 points, certain players are slow and terrible, they need to get rid of Rudy's contract, they need to clean house if they lose on Saturday... someone can't guard the pick n roll, we should never have traded so much for (Conley) etc etc.

These playoffs have been kind of underwhelming in general for me. No villains. Too many injured players. I dunno.

This is what I’m trying to say. I wouldn’t count on him at all for scoring.

But you can’t pay a guy that much and turn him into a Meyers Leonard cheerleader in the 4th Q.
Maybe after watching from the sidelines for a few games, he'd put a little more effort into improving his FT results

Do you have any legitimate references to state NYK wanted CJ?

I dont remember any sourced rumors

Looking at the injuries this season wow. I can feel Dames frustration. This year the title was wide open. I mean look at these names missing significant time:

LeBron
Davis
Embiid
Harden
Irving
Mitchell
Murray
Paul
Conley
Zach Collins too.

Nate McMillan now has two 18 point lead 4th qtr comeback in the playoffs. BRoy Blazers and now Atlanta

Yeah... But does the coach suck?

Where are they wrong? Lol.

Would you let Gobert walk if he is a Blazer?
I wouldnt pay him 205 for 5. If he's worth that how much is a Nurk worth? Again, for the second highest player on the team he left Mitchell on an island last night, at home.

They are also playing against a team without it's two best players. Mitchell looked to be about 60% to me (Tony Jones: Donovan Mitchell on his ankle: For the first time in my life, I’ve had to play on the floor. I…I can’t really move) and Conley is just as impactful to the team as Mitchell and not playing at all of course.

Jazz fans may be saying that now. But all the ones I know (and I lived there for 10 years so I know a lot of them) feel strongly that the Jazz play better without Conley. They prefer the Mitchell-Clarkson backcourt because Donovan plays better with the ball in his hands. And in that scenario, Conley is reduced to a jump shooter. Although, I have never thought Jazz fans were the brightest fan base around.

You cant have the DPY going out to guard the 3 point line and getting put on his heals with a blow by, late in games. Thats a coaching issue.

KD and the Nets. PG13.

I kind of like some of the Jazz, but I always can root against Joe Ingles.
