Someone needs to explain to me why the most expensive things are the ugliest things? That versace shorts are freaking horrible.

Bro, I don't know what you talkin' bout'!

Those shorts are HOT.

When is LeBron just going to admit it, stop using bootpolish on his scalp and just shave his head?

Because their target market is no longer old money, but the nouveau riche, or wannabe nouveau riche, who are still insecure about their wealth/status and need to make sure everyone around them knows that they have money.
Also, we've come to the point in trend cycles where the 90s are once again in fashion. And unfortunately it's not the Kurt Cobain 90s, but rather the Ross & Rachel 90s.
And lastly, the fashion world now has to compete with Kanye to make clothing that is simultaneously boring AND ugly as fuck.

Edit: Also note that those shorts are a collab with Kith: https://kith.com/
Collabs are everything these days. These labels can only exist by relaunching irrelevant labels from decades past, or swindling giants by stitching a few letters onto an existing template. Kith x Hilfiger? Fuck outta here with that garbage! Fuck Fieg, fuck Hilfiger.
The only KITH I'm into is Kids In The Hall!

Doesn’t all of this talk about fashion and labels belong in the OT thread on girlie things you do?

17 minutes in, one guy says that of all players on the roster, Lillard is the most likely to be traded.

I'll come back to them and listen to the rest later...maybe...

I never cease to be amazed by the echo chamber nature of sports "reporting". Stephen A. pronounces that Dame should go to the Knicks. LeBron mentions how great Dame would be playing next to him. Suddenly, nearly every sports outlet is rife with prognostications about Dame being traded, despite the fact that Dame says he wants to be a Blazer for life and the complete lack of any reasonable trade idea that would return anything approaching his value to the Blazers.

Now, do I think that there's absolutely no way the Blazers trade Dame? No. I think that they have about a two year window to put together a contending team built around him. If that doesn't happen, I think they could decide that his prime years cycle doesn't match the team's time frame for building a contender and determine that a trade to get valuable draft picks and young players makes sense. That COULD happen, but I really hope it doesn't.

I'm waiting for the first NBA player to form his very own heavy metal rock band and be the lead singer.
