If he really wants a career in Portland he's going to have to change his name to Layperson.

He could always go with "LayMen". #prideIf he really wants a career in Portland he's going to have to change his name to Layperson.
You nailed the joke harder and faster than I could. Good work.He could always go with "LayMen". #pride
That's Patty C.I took a quick look at the draft classes for the last 10 years... There are always 3-5 guys who made an impact from the second round, and often one or two starters (Milsap, Marc Gasol, Lance Stehpenson, etc) a year. I think we got a guy who can fit in a rotation, possibly replacing Crabbe if he gets a toxic offer.
I don't think he compares to Meyers in position and role personally but I would be very happy that if we have to lose a player that it is Meyers instead of Harkless so I am on board with you in that sense!

this was last month:
He reminds me a bit of young Batum, but with a post game Nic never had.He ought to have the McMillan/Batum role -- park in the corner and don't you dare move.
He's a good shooter.
or just go by "Jake the Snake"If he really wants a career in Portland he's going to have to change his name to Layperson.
Need to see Patty, Jake, and MyLe on the floor together. Maybe with Chandler Parsons too. Blazer faithful would love that group. That's Patty C.
Yeah that's what was said about Luke Babbitt and he is still pulling down an NBA paycheck.
Some time where?I like his skill set. He will see some time.
Not.
Swayed.
He'll be out of the league within three years.
I'm putting this here so if I'm wrong all you divas can bump it and tell me I was wrong.

Claver did everything well except shoot. Per VG, Layman does nothing well except shoot. His videos show a very smooth stroke.I'm telling you guys, watching more of these vids of him on youtube, I keep coming back to Claver.
hmm. prolly not the best thing in the world
I like my odds. Here's some guys drafted at #47 the past few years:
- 2015: Arturas Gudaitis (0 NBA games played)
- 2014: Russ Smith (27 NBA games played)
- 2013: Raul Neto (81 NBA games played)
- 2012: Kevin Murphy (17 NBA games played)
- 2011: Travis Leslie (10 NBA games played)
- 2010: Tiny Gallon (0 NBA games played)
- 2009: Henk Norel (0 NBA games played)
- 2008: Henry Walker (181 NBA games played)
- 2007: Dominic McGuire (342 NBA games played)
- 2006: Paul Millsap (768 NBA games played, NBA All-Star)
- 2005: Bracey Wright (26 NBA games played)
- 2004: Pape Sow (76 NBA games played)
- 2003: Mo Williams (818 NBA games played, NBA All-Star)
- 2002: Jamal Sampson (72 NBA games played)
- 2001: Ousmane Cisse (0 NBA games played)
2 All-stars selected at #47 in the past 15 years. 13.3%. Not bad.
Overall, on average the #47 draft choice plays 161 games (2 nba seasons).

I love Harkless but this draft pick could be a hedge for him possibly leaving in free agency. Hope I am wrong.
Luke Babbitt was a lottery pick and I don't think Layman will ever be as good as Babbitt. I'm fully alright with being wrong though, in fact, I would think it was awesome if I end up being wrong.
I like my odds.
