The most important Thing is EVERYBODY is better than Evan turnover at the Wing! EVERYBODY

More thoughts:
1) We screwed up by letting go of Davis, but so did every playoff other team. GS could really use him, so could most everyone else. Yes, the Nyets screwed up too, Davis isn't taking them anywhere, especially on a 1-year contract.

2) I'm getting a "rebuilding" vibe from our last 2 years of transactions.

3) I'm getting a "only shooters allowed" vibe this offseason.

4) I'm starting to get a "wake me up when Turner expires" feeling...

5) Neil kept using the term "impact" veteran. Surely, he didn't mean Stauskas, and it's frustrating waiting for the this impact vet.

6) I'm annoyed mostly at the ET signing, it really seems like that's where the apocolypse started...

7) When the hell do we get a Trent press conference?

8) I'm feeling like we're going to have to wait until LBJ and friends land, so we can pick up the pieces... and it's a long, frustrating wait.

Source: Philadelphia are entertaining the idea of using stash Jonah Bolden as a trade asset. Lots of interest from other NBA teams, there's a standard NBA buyout to free him of his $400,000 deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

I’d be all over this.

If Bolden was Ed's replacement I'd be really happy.

I liked Bolden last yr for us to draft, would like to have him, especially if a rebuild might happen

Question for the capologists in the forum:

Can you sign and trade a player into a trade exception? I'm targeting Julius Randle. Can LA sign him for a 12.9 deal for 4 yrs and trade him to us for a future pick or something, and we absorb his salary into our TPE?

Yes, technically.

But in order to S&T, we hard cap ourselves.

But even with the hard cap, we only lose exceptions and not our ability to sign players (Nurk) with our bird rights? I'm alright forgoing our MLE if we can bring in Randle and re-sign Nurk.

No, we wouldn't be able to go over to sign nurk. It caps every transaction

Well. Shit.

Those contracts are leaving us with no flexibility whatsoever. Not to mention the $5 mil in dead space we have because they didn't want to pay tax for one year and instead stretched the deals to fuck us over for three straight years. People wondered why we bitched about all this so much back then. You see the consequences now.

If Nurk takes the QO, then the Blazers would have about $17M in apron room and maybe you could work a S&T deal. Not holding my breath.

Neil won't get a single job offer once other teams realize how completely he mis-managed this payroll and roster (and more importantly, Dame's prime). Yes, I think us firing him is a foregone conclusion.

Portland stretched a few contracts when they were well below the tax instead of just taking the hit in one year (sideshow Andy). We're still paying for that too.

That’s just not true. Gigalo, valet parking, Amway... his options are wide open.

So what are our best case targets now? Tyreke?

What if we included someone in the deal? Like an Aminu
