Just saw this drama right now. Good work on the battle bracket, Chutney. I don't really agree with the rankings, because Chutney should have deserved an automatic second place for coming in 2nd in the last tourney...plus the fact that I only beat him by ONE vote.

But either way, the better battler will move on, so it doesn't really matter.

Good luck to everyone and we got some time before we start this so it's all good.

And I'm looking forward to S.Livingston...if he's battled before that means he probably knows what he's doing, and I'd rather have a challenge in the first round then not.

Damn, visiting that Junoon vs. Chutney Finals thread brought back some memories

Well, I had to have beaten somebody right? 7-6 was the final tally...it really could have gone either way.

I wouldn't worry about it, after it all it does not seem as if the rankings aren't really based off the past battles we have. If they really were MrJ wouldn't be as high as he is right now.

When are we going to start this now that everything is set up?

Well I know that, Winter Break doesn't start the same day wordlwide you know.

Good point. We'll work out a date. It would be helpful for all the participants to post the days they will be off for Winter Break
 
Dec.22 for me but I'mma be out that day and I'll be working everyday during the winterbreak, as well as family gatherings etc etc, and I'm sure the same goes for everyone else (gatherings) so time will be more constricted than in the summer tourney.

Also, can we PLEASE make a 16 bar (max), 3 verse limit to each battle? I don't want the voters having to read 90 verses that are each 60 pages long and making it obvious that they haven't read more than half the battle when they explain thier votes.

One bar can equal two lines (if you want) so that's 32 bars Max which is more than enough.

I'm done my Finals on the week of the 11th, so If I had to guess..my break starts on the 14th.

Agreed. Also, when replying to the first verse, try not to make your verse around the same length and not like 3 times longer in all fairness.
 
I was out for most of the day and I come back and see like 100 new posts.

Thanks for the love judges, even though I wouldn't even rank myself that high lol. Anyway, regardless of who I have to face I plan on being successful.
 
OMG, I dont get it. Who am I facing?

EDIT: Me and Carter were gonna battle each other. Can we switch mines and carter's spots. We really want to battle each other.

We all wish we could choose our battles but thats how the bracket goes. I really wanted to take Swish but they changed it up.

Maybe you can just battle Carter before the tournament as a warm up if you want to take him that badly.

Ahh man. I have one problem though. Since I was last ranked, and some people were unranked, shouldn't they be behind me meaning last would face first and second last faces second?

Well the judges left them unranked for a reason; because they don't know their skill level. So its kind of unfair for someone new in the whole rap game to face the best when they havn't freestyle before. S.Livingston14 actually accepted being ranked behind you so he has to face Karma/Junoon. The other two unranked are facing eachother in the first round in all fairness.
 
I guess it's all good. MrJ is beatable.
 
How long's a bar? And what are the restrictions for the Tourney? Just wondering...

16 lines= 16 bars
 
Can each judge post their individual rankings? I'm curious to see where I stood in each of the different rankings.
