The only one of the current candidates angling for a shot as Trump's VP is Cruz.

barfo
totally disagree. Carson had multiple chances to punish Trump (including the aforementioned "vaccine" question), yet seemed to have some rapport with him (the weird bro-shake at one point)...I could see the two of them playing off of each other.

That's your criteria for POTUS?

Wow.

This silly post is proof that you don't read the entire thread. That bitch ain't going to win shit. I said she won on that particular issue. Not won the debate. Now the fact that she had an actual plan on most things like what she would do by not meeting with Putin etc is the reason why she won the debate. Talking about my requirement for president? She doesn't meet any of those requirements. She is not a viable candidate and she would never garner my vote. So please read the previous posts and you may have some perspective.

So?

If Russia wants to be in Syria that's awesome for them! Are you saying Obama should be building military bases in Syria? Why?

Russia building a military base in Syria is sticking a thumb in Obama's eye. Deliberate bullying of him.

You asked, you got the answer.

Russia is just one of many nations who bully us under Obama/Clinton/Kerry.

Sorry you don't like the answer, but it is what it is. But you asked.

It is a huge problem and security risk, not disagreeing with you. We need to improve our computer security.

The US and NSA has hacked the entire world.

Bullying is making someone do something by force or threat of force. China is bullying many nations but we are not one of them.

You're simply wrong, but whatever.

I thought Donald Trump did a terrible job in this debate. What are your thoughts @Denny Crane?

He wasn't terrible, but he certainly didn't dominate the airtime like he did in the first debate. He didn't do much to distinguish himself either. He was mostly the target of ridicule by the rest of the candidates and had to defend himself against his boorish behavior.

Can you explain how that qualifies as "bullying"?

That's the thing, trump doesnt have to win it. He just has to show up, say trump things, and not make too much of a fool of himself.

Most of the republicans are asshats that are far too conservative for the average person nowadays. The republican party is dying, especially politicians still supporting abortion, one man one woman etc. Millenials will never vote for politicians that say shit like that.

People are tired of asshat politicians that don't know how to play the game. Trump is using his celebrity to play the game, and distance himself from the pony show that is politics. And people are eating it up. Clinton sucks, and frankly, she is likely to be the democrat nomination. I think Trump can beat her.

Republican party is dying? I don't see that.

They run most of the state governments and the house and senate. In fact, I think I read recently that the republicans have more people in the house and senate than any time since the 1920s.

Russia annexed crimea and has turned the Ukraine into a war zone that they'll eventually absorb as well.

I don't see how that is anything but bullying. Unless you think we wanted to let them do these things.

So, someone doing something you don't want them to do qualifies as bullying?

Stop bullying me by responding to this thread.

So there's no such thing as bullying to you?

I think Russia is building a base in Syria, and that's not something Obama or the US wants. It is bullying by your own definition.

Russia simply doing things we disagree with does not, in fact, meet "my" (dictionary) definition. As Sly indicated, and as the definition I posted states, bullying involves forcing another to do something that they themselves do not want to do.

In what manner has Russia used superior strength or influence to force the US to do something they don't want to do?

They took our lunch money by force.

What more do you need?

I assume you're being metaphorical. Be literal--I'm dense. What did they actually take from us? It's not as though Crimea was a US territory.

Again, how is Russia building a military base in Syria bullying the USA? Do you think we should be building military bases in Syria?

Crimea and the Ukraine were going to join NATO.

Not only did Russia bully us, they bullied our allies.

It's not like we're doing a thing to stop the bullying. They're building a base in Syria now and we won't stop them because we fear their strength.

Again, how is Russia building a military base in Syria bullying the USA? Do you think we should be building military bases in Syria?

I don't think we want Russia building military bases in the middle east, do you?

Why aren't we stopping them?

Because Obama's afraid of the big bad bully.

Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressivelydominate others. The behavior is often repeated and habitual. One essential prerequisite is the perception, by the bully or by others, of an imbalance of social or physical power, which distinguishes bullying from conflict

I honestly don't give two shits about Syria. I feel bad for the Syrian people but I do not want US bases or troops in Syria. If Russia wants to step into that mess good for them.

You keep dodging my question, do you think the US should be building military bases in Syria?

Why should we stop them? More specifically, what right would we have to stop them? We don't not stop them because we fear them; we don't stop them because their actions do not encroach on our rights or freedoms. The US using their power and influence to unjustly and unreasonably prevent Russia from building a military base in Syria would quite certainly qualify as bullying.

Sounds like you want the US to exert control over Russia. Sounds like you want Obama to be a bully. Why do you support bullying?

No. But I don't think we want Russia to be building military bases in Syria.

Drawing a line in the sand and then backing down is being bullied.

So if Sam tells Ivan not to sit at the cool table in the cafeteria, and Ivan does so anyway, and Sam chooses not to push him out of his seat, then that makes Ivan a bully?

You still don't indicate what right the US would have to stop Russia from building a base in Syria.

No. But I don't think we want Russia to be building military bases in Syria.

So what would President Denny do about this? Bomb the Russian military bases? Drone attacks? Maybe a couple of nukes? Exactly how would you stop Russia from building bases in a place you don't want to send US troops?

He would use force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate Russia in order to ensure that they complied with US demands.

Denny supports bullying.

It would be if Ivan has a history of instigating fights, telling everyone that he wants to fight Sam, then Sam says "If you sit on the cool table, I'm gonna punch you" and Ivan sits there anyway.
