Why is minny still so terrible? They have decent players. and our team is basically performing just as well. They have more talent than us.

I'm glad they still suck because fuck them.

Rubio is overrated. KG is a shell. Martin is basically Mr. Glass.

Their talent is all really young. Wiggins, KAT, LeVine... all really young. As they age, they'll improve.

Coaching. Their about a great coach away from being the real deal

I'd have thought with our cap space a deal along the lines of...

Meyers in exchange for filthy East Coast contract with 18 months to go and an upgrade on Meyers.

Or

Moe for aforementioned Filthy EC Contract and mid first round pick.

I can't see us using the trade deadline to secure too much decent talent with what we have to offer (I'd keep CJ, our only real bargaining chip for another season at least) and this season's FA's don't deserve too much attention so I'd use the cap space to ekk out a few sneaky salary dumps from the east and see what we can bargain around that.

Wojnarowski

"Executives around the league, and people have told me, that the Bulls are very determined to add a talented wing player," said Wojnarowski during his podcast. "And I’ve been told that the Bulls are open to…whether it’s Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson…maybe not both of them, but either of them if there’s a deal out there that they can bring in the best possible wing player available, they’re open to it… They need more shooting."

Noahs value is shit right now. Id give them Henderson for Noah and a 2nd. That way they save some money this year because they are cheap.

Noah is one more knee bang from being out of the league I think He has decreased dramatically over the last year and a half and really is just shell of himself. He is nothing close to being a good acquisition for the future of this team.

Unless... you were nabbing him to turn over to someone else who may have a need for him? but then who would that's a contender now?

He's on the last year of his deal like Noah. The point is to give Noah a look and get a second rounder. We have a shit ton of cap space and will have to spend the money anyways. Might as well get a pick or two from using it. It's not like henderson has a future here either

If that was the case I think we would just do a 3 team deal instead.

Browsing Philly boards (RealGM, Libertyballers. Etc) and most wouldn't mind Okafor being dealt. They seem to be clouded by the hypothetical Embiid potential.

The most common idea thrown out there by their fans: CJ for Noel.

Uh, no. Hell no.

I'd hate to give up CJ. I'd do it in the right situation but Noel isn't a proven enough player.

I could see them being open to a Nerlens trade though. He doesn't fit at all with Okafor. Not sure what we could offer. Meyers would fit much better offensively next to Okafor. If we package him with Crabbe they'd listen. We'd likely have to move one of Plumlee or Ed Davis in a second trade as I don't see Noel being able to play alongside either. Too few minutes for all three to be happy here. The more I think about it the less I like it. If there was a reason to think Noel could start ahead of Plumlee or Davis long term then I'd consider it.

Brandon Jennings name is getting thrown around in trade rumors. Would he suit your fancy for an upgrade at backup PG?

But then we take a chance at Noah losing more value as he declines... Not buying it. Why would we want a "look" at Noah anyhow? We know he wouldnt be part of the future because of age and his knees have been looked at for a couple years now?

John Hollinger - LOL!

Lost me man. Whats that mean?

Can we trade Henderson back to CHA for their pick? Come on, Rich. You know you want him

The biggest asset we have is the ability to absorb a huge contract.

This team could land a very good player without giving up any real assets.

The player would have to fit onto Neil's target age range - under 28ish.

Candidates?
