Josiah Sharma chose the Ducks over Washington, Alabama and Texas as well

6'6 300 lb. Josiah is thought to be the best DT on the West Coast this year. He is also very young for his class and wont turn 17 until after his HS Senior season... that means in the tape above I relayed he's just 15 going up against guys as old as 18. Very stoked about this one

What @Hoopguru posted. Just how big of a commitment do you need?

rivals has Davison as a 5* and #18 best player overall. He looks like a real talent but the frosting on top is that Oregon lands yet another from SoCal powerhouse Mater Dei which USC used to have a pipeline from.

Herbert and Clemens were both 3 star as well. I think I remember Patrick Chung and a few other defensive guys being 3 star.

Then there’s all too many 5 star flops like Cameron Colvin.

Clemens wasn't a three star. He was a high four star, top 5 QB nationally. He was in the same class as Derek Anderson and Nic Costa who all hailed from Oregon and were all top 10 national QB prospects. Kellen Clemens was the highest rated among them.

What happened with those three 5 star wide receivers? Did they all go to Texas? or still uncommitted?

Dakorien Moore is the big fish they're after. He and his mom said some really nice things about the program post visit. Oregon is said to be in the running but not the drivers seat & I'm not sure a commit date has been set yet. Michael Terry is another high 4* that visited recently. I've read he's very interested but they do already have 2 highly ranked guys and only so many slots and he may be waiting in line dependant on Moore's decision. If there is a third I'm forgetting it

btw, Brew is an Ohio State legacy and they were thought to be a lock to land him. He's a bigger CB at 6'2 and has clocked 10.75 in the 100M

btw, Brew's size seems to be part of a trend as all of Oregon's DBs from the last class and this one are at least 6'1.

Also, another potential 2025 Duck announces today at 1PM... 4* SoCal LB Noah Mikhail. We shall see, but the sites seem to be trending with Oregon being the bridesmaid to TAMU

this is kind of in line with what I was told although I suspect the Ducks may be a couple million higher than that number. The go-to excuse for USC and UW fans is that Oregon is dropping bags all over the place, but I'm pretty sure they aren't in the top-10 in NIL spending; maybe not even top-15

it's more that Lanning and staff are elite at recruiting and selling vision and culture. And the impact of Chief of Staff, Marshall Malchow (and his staff) has been huge for recuiting

lol, yeah, that post isn’t even close to accurate

you think Mizzou’s NIL is less than 10mm?

As I said before, I’m 110% positive both Oregon and tOSU are over 20mm.

A bad year after filling the roster with transfers is grounds for firing?! Would have had a championship just a couple years back.
Not much loyalty on here.
