ESPN is reporting that the Clips are making a serious play for Iverson. In this context, "serious play" means offering their full MLE. (which is supposedly around twice what the Heat offered him)

Somehow an AI/Dunleavy marriage strikes me as being made someplace south of heaven! :biglaugh:

FWIW, SI.com is also announcing that Frye has/will sign with the Suns. 2 years starting at $2mil.

Iverson and the Clips have always seemed like a match to me. This doesn't surprise me.

Iverson and Baron Davis in the backcourt? That should be interesting..

sounds reasonable, i thought AI always would be good in LA....gets some swagger with a small time franchise.

It's too bad they couldn't keep a core together that consisted of Baron Davis, Allen Iverson, and Zach Randolph. That would have been terrific, and by terrific I do me combustible.

The city of L.A. would erupt into a giant blackhole destroying all life as we know it.

I had been hoping for a Z-bo, D-Miles and AI reunion in Memphis but the gods appear more merciful then expected.

Could we squeeze in an NBA season that resulted in a Blazers championship prior to the black hole inching it's way to Portland?

I think Stephen Hawking is writing it into his next novel.
Yes! I really wish Stephen Hawking would stop wasting his time with all that Astro Physics nonsense and go back to his passion...writing romance novels!

AI will certainly help the growth of Eric Gordon and Griffin.

By help I mean he will help them realize that after then end of their rookie contracts they should go to an actual NBA team instead of staying with the Slippers.

Can you imagine Davis, Zach & AI fighting over the ball? Better than MMA.
