Yep, Rubio, Pekovic and Barea all out. Hard to compete in this league when you are missing your starting PG and your starting center.

But, they are still ahead of us in the standings and have already won 7 more games in this abbreviated season than all of last season.

BNM

Their back up center has been out as well and Beasley has missed some games. Love's been playing a lot of Center lately.

They've been decimated by injuries.

Sounds familiar. Good coaches find a way to win through a few injuries. Washed up coaches fight it out with an obviously tanking Blazers team for lottery position.

Cut bait and find a better worm.

What, is Minnesota suddenly in the playoffs? Three straight years for Adelman. Pressure is going to be on next year, if he can't keep Love and Barea from punching each other.

Jordan punched Kerr.

Love's got 42 pts, 15rebs, 4 asts tonight. But, he does have 2 TO's so that negates all of those stats.

Stat padder!!!

Love is a stat beast. I've always said that is the case. He's a freak in terms of stats. He did let Dante Cunningham go for 13/14/4 blocks last night in a must-win for Minny, but hey, he got his 28/11/4 blocks!

Are you really comparing Love to Jordan? LMAO

I watched the game. Cunninham played the 3, Speights and Randolph were playing the 4.

Update, he had 40 and 19 tonight.

He's dominated Aldridge this year for the average of 35/15 or something in 3 must win games for the Blazers. Stat padder!!!!!

Derrrppp!

Here's a crazy stat.

Wolves vs Blake Griffin/LaMarcus Aldridge teams this year.

6-0

Well, you can keep rooting for Minny to get more ping pong balls, and I'll keep rooting for Portland to get more ping pong balls.

How about the Knicks winning two straight without Lin and Stoudemire.

D'Antoni was just horrible.

Yea he dominated LA with LA getting taken out of the games for ticky tack fouls while trying to guard Love every time. You could say Love is savy but the refs treat him like the next coming of MJ. Love puts up stats and is basically carrying the wolves, and im impressed with his improvement on D (which is still bad but no longer couldnt guard a cardboard box more like zbo bad now) I cant help but wonder if they can keep it up next year. The wolves are a team that is perfect for this short season, much like the jazz, but when they lose the advantage of young legs and teams can practice and prepare better we'll see if they are for real or just an abnormality caused by this short and condensed season.

You're delusional. Watch the Wolves play more.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do (other than annoy PapaG) by posting sarcastic comments after every good Love game. Perhaps you should go to a Timberwolves forum?

My comments aren't sarcastic.

Kevin Love is a stat padder!

I'm Delusional because I associate their success with the fact they are young and can handle this season better then most teams? At the moment the wolves aren't even in the playoffs and they are young, there legs can handle this season a lot better then most teams and that shows in the way they play. They come out with energy every game, you don't notice that with a lot of teams this season.
If thats not the part i'm delusional about please explain.

Delusional in that you think Love gets to the line because the refs help him there. He cuts to the basket, works harder than his opponent and simply knows how to draw the foul.

Great teams in this league have more than one star player (with the exception of the Bulls).

Watch him play. He's the hardest worker in the NBA. Brings his lunchpail every game.

Kings are fun to watch. Isaiah Thomas is a baller, too bad he was a Husky!

In a sense I understand where the K-Love hate comes from. Fans are super, duper skeptical of an American born white player being a superstar.

I don't believe I said that he gets to the line soley because the refs help him. He does get a lot of touch fouls but he goes to the line a ton from grabbing the o-board and creating contact. What I more mean from the refs treating him like MJ is because he gets away with a lot. He goes over the back, he shoves and grabs peoples arms and plays really physical. They let him do it but when other people try and do the same thing to him they get called for the foul a lot. I don't disagree with the fact that he is one of the hardest if not the hardest worker in the NBA.
You do act like I don't' watch Wolves games and have told me to watch them more then a few times this year. I do watch them, just because I see different things when I watch doesn't mean I don't.

Kevin Love shoots under 40% from everywhere on the floor except right under the rim

I think fans are more skeptical of a stat beast with MVP numbers who plays for a losing team.

He shoots 46% from the field. 82% from the foul line.

He has a TS% of 57%. Better than Aldridge, Griffin, Garnett and every other PF in the league.

But, sure.

He's athletic. Has more dimension to his game than spot shooting.
Weird that their 60th pick is turning out better than the 10th. You rarely ever see that, especially when both play the same position on the same team.
