Weird that their 60th pick is turning out better than the 10th. You rarely ever see that, especially when both play the same position on the same team.

Call me a Jimmer apologist, but IT has gotten a better shake this year than Jimmer. Thomas has been playing well, so I won't discredit his performance, but Jimmer's playing time has been wildly inconsistent. He was averaging nearly 17 points a game in the few games he started and has solid spot minutes when Smart has allowed him off the bench for any amount of decent time. It's a really weird scenario. He plays well in a game or two and then gets 2 DNP-CD right after. I've never seen anything like it for a lottery pick. Then again, I've probably followed Jimmer more closely than any other rookie before. Anyway, I think the jury is still out on what Jimmer can do, and I do think he'd contribute pretty well if given the same opportunity IT has been, but whatever.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe we can make a run at Jimmer if they're low on him.

Jimmer seems to dominate the ball when he is in and takes a long time to find his own shot. Havent really watched him play much on the kings though so that observation is from very limited view.

Actually, one of the knocks his coach has on him right now is that he's not aggressive enough. It's also pretty obvious that once he gives up the ball, he doesn't get it back too often. The Kings are dead last in assists, or at least they were at one point. Not sure where they are now. I would have said that he's a slow starter too, except he's actually done alright for the very limited minutes he's had lately. Some of the other knocks by his coach are his defense (but who on SacTown actually plays defense anyway, and while not great, he has improved and doesn't get posted up nearly as often as IT), and that "he just needs to develop." I don't know how you develop a player by keeping him on the bench all game. Isn't that the same complaint many have with McMillan and Portland's young players? Maybe Jimmer won't amount to much, but it is sure hard to tell with the way he's being used in Sactown.

Patty!! 7 points in 5 minutes in the first half of the Spurs-Kings game.
Great to see him back in the NBA, he deserves it.

Also great to have him under Australian Coach/Spurs Ast Brett Brown.

He's a great glue guy, and it will be interesting to see if his off-court influence helps the Spurs title run.

Sacto is 28th in ASST/possession,26th in ASST/game, and 28th in ASST/madeFG.

Abysmal

Wow, has Tyreke Evans been ruined by Sacto or what?

He's a shell of himself these days. Tiny Isaiah Thomas is taking 19 shots and 9 3 pointers tonight?

Case in point: Tonight, err last night: IT 41 minutes with 28/4/10 on 11/19 shooting; Jimmer 7 minutes with 5/1/0 on 2/4 shooting. Previous game: IT 48 minutes(OT) with 8/8/6 on 3/13 shooting; Jimmer 4 minutes with 0/0/1 on 0/1 shooting. IT is playing well, but I don't understand this distribution of minutes between two rookies. Kobe doesn't even play those kinds of minutes. Plus, when Jimmer is in, he ends up playing more SG than PG. It's just an odd situation.

Their making Evans play the SF and have spent the last 2 years convinced he wasn't a PG so they needed a PG to take the ball out of his hands. Evans strengths were a lot like Westbrook with his ability to slash to the rim and finish with ease or make a pass. He is also very dependent on FT's to make a big impact in points. Saco should have used him just like the thunder used Westbrook, make the combo guard the PG and just live with the results.
Picked him third round in my fantasy draft last year and third round this year and he has been nothing but a disappointment, to bad I traded him and Paul George for freaken injured Curry.

Evans hasn't even been starting lately. Marcus Thornton passed him on the depth chart

Ruined I tell ya.

If only Durant wasn't so damn likeable so I could hate him and take some of the Oden frustration out in anger towards him!

It makes it worse actually.... not only is the guy amazing, but he's a super nice guy too...... man it sucks to be a blazers fan lol

The coach came out and said he didn't start a few games was b because he was coming back from injury and they were being catius. He was back to starting tonight.

I would trade a signed Nic Batum and a draft pick for Evans and Chuck Hayes.

If we want someone like Evans, we should just trade down, and draft Wroten. They're like the exact same, and Wroten might actually be a better passer.

No trading down. Martell over Paul and Williams is a big enough case study for me.

For shits and giggles, without looking, can anyone tell me the player picked directly after Chris Paul and directly before Martell Webster?

Shelden Williams?

Holy Shit! I had to look that up....... how ironic!

It's a bit like asking a healthy Brandon Roy to learn to play off the ball so Andre Miller can dominate the set offense. Nobody would be that crazy, right? ;)

what kind of idiot coach would do that?
