the year after they drafted westbrook, in durants second year, the thunder started the season 3-29, shoulda fired presti then

And I believe it to be true that you were likely mocking Presti 4 years ago for dumping Allen and Lewis, and turning them into a 20 win team, but I also really don't give a shit. Yippee. You don't like Cho, and because people at one point were mad at the organization for getting rid of him, you will continue to comment on him until.....who knows when, really. It's your schtick. I get it. I was infomed by MM that message boards are mainly to fuck with people, and not real discussion, so the characters played out here make more sense now.

I like the one real move Cho made in Charlotte, at the draft last year. I like the moves he made when he was here, and I wish we would have held on to him, to see what would happen. And no, we can't just look to Charlotte to see how we would have been, so don't bother oging there.

I didn't know who Cho was 4 years ago. The Sonics were an afterthought, too. They got lucky that they got the #2 pick in the 2007 draft, and Sam Presti is a genius because of it. Those are the breaks.

I don't recall Presti ever having the worst all-time percentage in NBA history, either. Your Mediocre Man anecdote is kind of random, as well, IMO. Anyhow, I do like the new level of interesting you're bringing, and hope you continue to speak your mind! :)

Can I add that this is an NBA thread, and I haven't brought up Cho in months in any other thread, other than to say perhaps he knew what he was doing before he got fired?

He means that when the old folks are around, we all pretend to like Beaver, but we really don't.

You know, it's funny--What did he really do with Allen and Lewis? Lewis was leaving regardless, because only Orlando was stupid enough to sign him to that ridiculous contract. What did he get in the sign & trade--a second round pick? Wow.

And Allen--he swapped him to Boston for a #5 pick that became Jeff Green, who he then traded back to Boston a few years later for Kendrick Perkins. Impressive. (?)

Meanwhile, the Warriors are trying to lose their last game. They could lose their draft pick entirely if they aren't bad enough.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest NBA player ever, is poised to become the owner of the worst team in league history.

His embarrassingly bad Charlotte Bobcats have one last shot to avoid the title.

Heading into Thursday night's regular-season finale, the Bobcats are teetering on the verge of the worst winning percentage (.106) ever and could clinch the dubious distinction with a loss at home to the New York Knicks in the lockout-shortened season.

Charlotte is a woeful 7-58 and its record-setting futility would eclipse the 39-year-old mark held by the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers. That team finished 9-73 (.110) in a full regular season.

Jordan led Chicago to six NBA championships, but his Bobcats get no respect — Charlotte has become the butt of jokes

"It has been tough, but we are just trying to move forward," guard D.J. Augustin said. "Many people are laughing at us and making (the streak) as a joke, but we take it very seriously. We are just trying to stay positive and play hard until the end."

I watched that game and Patty can't run a team to save his life!

He's a gunner. Plays with blinders on.

Going by the boxscore, Armon Johnson was the best Net in their season finale.

Tyson Chandler is the defensive player of the year. It's great that the guy is getting the respect he deserves. IMO he is the 3rd best center in the league.

D'Antoni still couldn't win with the defensive player of the year, one of the more clutch players in the league (Melo) and Amare.

D'Antoni is sooooo overrated.
