your ignorance is exceeded with this dumb "lets trade for eric maynor nonsense'
eric maynor is another blazer favorite. makes sense why you like him. cant shoot, average passer, has potential, and overated defender. all things blazer fans look for.
I'd be very happy dealing a first round pick, top-five and maybe top-ten protected, for Randolph. He's no longer as blue chip a prospect as he once was, but I still think his potential is high. Worth taking a chance on if the cost is just a late-lottery/mid first round pick.

I'd trade Rudy & N.O 1st for Randolph

average pg???? beno on sac? felton on knicks? beldesoe on clippers.
hes not even close to those guys even if he played 35+ a night. he might get better but i doubt it....
isnt their a pacers forum where you could go convince yourself hibbert is the best center in the nba or something or maybe mcroberts has a chance at the all star game?

when it makes too much sense....
chandler, collison, mo williams, varejo.... i know i have confidence cho will look in another direction.
Why wouldn't you play Andy at the 5? He's 6'11" and 260 (vs LMA 6'11" and 240) and starts at Center for CLE.Agree with your short-list. But I'd add Gallanari. Our bench needs a shooter - and he can score.
I'd prefer him - playing the SF with Batum over Batum and Randolph. (Then we can get rid of Babbitt altogether).
I think Rudy and picks might get this done if our pick is what would sway Denver to pull the trigger on a Carmello-to-NY deal.
Second on my list is Varejao. Not sure what we need to do in order to get him. I think the only way is a deal involving Pryz and his expiring. But I like having Pryz to spell Camby. I'd still pull the trigger on a Pryz for Varejao deal - even if it meant moving LMA to the 5 when Camby is out of the game.
Point guard will have to wait until the trade deadline or off-season in my opinion.
This fall the Knicks measured him at 7'0" 222 lbs., do you strictly play him at the four or a small five?
oh mclueless..... if eric maynor is ever as good as any of the above.... i will apologize for calling you clueless.
and is eric maynor above those guys? should i now put eric in roses or rondos league? hes elite now? man cho better get busy on this kid. NOW.
oh mixie boy. Quit changing subjects. Felton is an above average PG and even someone who rarely watches basketball knows that.
Admit it. You don't know shit about the game. Its okay.
I am going to agree with MIXUM on this one. Felton is certainly not in that top tier of PG's. In a free agent market where alot of mediocre talent got overpaid, Felton was only able to get two years guaranteed at just above the MLE. His numbers are not going to get alot of respect since he is in Dantoni's system. I would still rather have Andre Miller this season for the Blazers.
Bledsoe and Beno are both fair. Of the starting PG's in the league, they are arguably the worst starters.
Other gauges that could be used:
25 minutes a game over a season
6 assists per game over a season
Start 60 games in a season
15 ppg over a season
Felton's #'s have gone up in New York because he has an All-Star player aside him.
Your making strawman arguments. I never said he was a top tier PG, I also never said I'd rather have him over Andre (to some that might be debateable). All I said, is that he's an above average PG. 18ppg and 8apg this year would agree with me.
You agree with Mixum that 18 and 8 is average production from a PG?
Probably way more talented than anyone you guys would pick assuming you're always in mid-late first or late lotto area. But the fact that the Knicks are willing to move him so fast after they just acquired him (and were in love with him) is concerning. When he was traded from GS for Lee it just seemed like giving up talent for a proven player despite the internal issues he had there. Now its becoming a trend.

It's "concerning" that they want to trade Anthony Randolph to get Carmelo Anthony?? Wouldn't every GM do that?
