Last time I checked this is an OSU/UO thread and no Ducks fans make threads on this board.
All I see after a OSU victory are 3 threads at the same time, so don't know where you got your argument there.

1. You said they won but back-handed insulted them. You can keep saying you didn't but then there was no other reason necessary to say well UA did this and this to help them win it. I have seen you do this for a very long time after Beaver wins.

2. It isn't taboo - I find it annoying that some people can never compliment a team on a win without making a snide remark about it.

3. Your initial post did congratulate the Beavers on the win while saying you didn't think they could pull it out - the next sentence was commentary about how Arizona played to lose and about going to a prevent d. This is a back-handed insult. While perhaps it would not have been taken that way from other posters you have a history of insulting the Beavers and belittling what they've done - see your argument earlier in this thread about the Beavers on the road.

4. This is a UO/OSu thread, yes. And you are correct that on this board thus far no Duck fan started a thread (although it happened on BBF.net), but there are many posts in this current thread making back-handed insults about the Beavers.

5. I do not believe I said you said that OSU fans are always comparing the Beavers to the Ducks. I said Duck fans are saying that - not you in particular.

Just because my opinion of OSU as a subpar road team doesn't mean I am belittling them. I am glad they won, it finally sets up a decent Civil War instead of who gets to go to the shitty ass bowl game in El Paso or San Francisco. My honest opinion was I thought UA would win, I was wrong.
OSU is turning into a better road team, but my opinion of them as a road team still hasn't changed much, doesn't mean I am taking anything away from them. I think you had some bad experiences with Duck fans in the past and are overly sensitive tonight, b/c I haven'y talked shit about osu.

These kind of fans make me want to see OSU get creamed game in and game out.
I actually like the Rodgers Bros and Samie is a great story. I know not all OSU fans are like this (one of my best friends is a Beaver fan and we respect both teams)
So :cheers: to all the humble beavs out there, best of luck Sat and in the rose bowl if you make it!

Also, more fun facts for all of you out there in homerland...Blount had zero yards against USC and decided that it was so much fun that he did it again versus Cal! Can anyone stop him from going for zero yards for a 3rd time to make it zero total yards against every single team he has faced with a winning PAC10 record? Can he be stopped from being stopped? Is that really why they wear a zero on all of their helmets [it's almost as big as that hideous zero on their new baseball jerseys]? :dunno:

I'm not an alumnus of either school, but I have to add just how proud I am of the two programs. I can recall a time--not so long ago--when U of O and OSU were the perennial doormats of the Pac-8/10. How far football in Oregon has come. For a basis of comparison, just look to Washington--the CrApple Cup is an embarrassment this year.

MAS RipCity, with all this hostility towards the Beavers, I'm surprised you were able to manage spending a whole year in school at OSU before defecting south.
 
Don't show any hostility towards the Oregon State Police. Duck and Beaver fans might get into a drunk scuffle or also could end up in this. They plan on having this on campus.

Having graduated from OSU over the summer term, I'm mad that I didn't create some sort of 1-credit class I could enroll in (such as thesis work) so I could get student tickets. I'm not spending $200 for a seat, and I can't think of any ways to sneak in now that most of my connections (ASOSU president, etc) are gone.
 
I'm off to the game. I'm a Duck fan an season ticket holder and I'm going to try and not be to obnoxious. I think the Beavers will win today but it will be close now especially with OSU's injuries. Good luck to both teams and I hope it is a good game.:cheers:
 
I really hope the ducks can pull this one out. I like the underdog mentality... I like having nothing to lose.

But you won't see any mean words out of me. I'm really proud of this Beaver team, and they didn't back down to anybody! (other than maybe Penn State).

Should be an awesome game, and some really high quality football, which will represent this state well. Reeser will be rockin', of this I am sure.

I'm not too big a fan of Versus, but I think i prefer it to FSN... but def. not ABC or ESPN. Its definitely better than some of the Duck games they had before Pac-10 play on Comcast... that is pretty bad, just like the NBA games on that channel.
