I guess you better hope that you're going to stay at the next job for a long time, because short hopping from job to job makes you look unreliable and disloyal.

So should Oregon never fire Taggart either?I'm sure there a thousands of fans who have invested their hope in your employment decisions. Etiquette is not cheating on your girlfriend or wife because a pretty girl shows interest, even if that is what you want to do and even if she is your dream girl.
So should Oregon never fire Taggart either?
No. That literally happens every year though. It has been a year.... do you think he told them in his interview that he wanted the job, but he'd leave if a better one opened up in the next year?
He's gone.

Trollin' trollin' trollin', SlyPoker is trollin', trollin' all the fans of the Ducks..
It's S2 that he's using, no link makes it confusin, to put more fun and laughter in his life..
Taggart doesn't strike me as the type to recruit hard a bunch of guys only to unfulfill his end of the bargain.
IMO a big part of Helfrich's downfall was Admin not being willing to ante up for an established DC. Neither Pellum or Hoke had ever been one before and they took significantly less then the going Pac 12 rate. They got what they paid for.I don't get how Oregon, with all it's money, facilities and recent success is still a damn stepping stone job.
Get someone who wants to be at Oregon...other than Helfrich
There has to be a way around it, like maybe he can sign our extension AND PK signs Willie to a Nike exclusive deal worth like 2 mil a year? Nike then releases the Willie Max Pumps, the official coaching shoe of Nike lolIMO a big part of Helfrich's downfall was Admin not being willing to ante up for an established DC. FSU is reportedly going to offer significantly more for their next Head Coach then what Oregon just extended Taggart and thats without factoring in Florida's lower tax rates. Thinking about this begs the question, does Oregon really have the revenue of the biggest programs or do they need to do it somewhat with smoke and mirrors to compete. Yes I know that Uncle Phil buys the buildings and barber chairs, but if I'm not mistaken, revenue from the gate & merchandise pays the coach's salaries.
