Not to conservative, maybe a solid libertarian.
This country needs a serious 3rd party, imo.
Everything needs balance and right now the extremist on both sides are taking this country down.

Maybe the State of Oregon can lead the way for the left coast?

The problem with a third party is that it will certainly cost one candidate an eventual win by denying him the votes that he would have gotten. To solve this problem, you'd have to schedule another election pitting the top two in the previous election and even then there could be foul ups.
With two parties, you're going to leave some voters virtually out of participation because they disagree with the two major candidates but I'm afraid that's the best we can do.

I don't want to have to vote for him. He's farther to the right than Hillary. So policy.
Look, you don't want Pence and you absolutely don't want Trump so I say let's go with the guy who's got the best shot at beating those clowns.

Throw me the name of a different candidate who has a good chance of winning.

Last, you are basing your statement, I presume, on a Justice Department decision which has not been tested in court.

Probably. I think it has more to do with his crazy ass attorney

In my perfect world, a moderate would win. Too left or too right drives a stake down the middle of the country, IMO

Read my post. I said I don't want to HAVE to vote for him.

Your world sure. I disagree that it works for mine. Even Barack was too far to the right.

Hell, the fuck, no. Nobody wants Ayn Rand Paul as president.

Why a Dem or a Rep?...why pigeon hole them as liberal or conservatives?....why not just elect someone with the most common sense and the one who's more interested in doing what best for the country as a whole instead of someone who is more concerned with getting re-elected?

...2 party system makes no sense to me...too counter-productive and too dysfunctional.

I think he actually would be a better one than Clinton,Trump or Joe.
he lines up more with my way of thinking than extreme progressives or conservatives. But not everything.
I know you can think of something that he stands for you could endorse? Give it a shot!

Dude, I'm at work...

Elizabeth Warren would TROUNCE Trump.
Bernie Sanders
Kamala Harris
Deval Patrick

That's off the top.

But there are going to be people that come out of nowhere like Barack did.

Watch out for Joaquin Castro.

Gary Johnson is an asshat that I'd never vote for.
I respect your right to vote for whomever.
Warren would be my pick, because she would be the first in line to invite Billy back to the Oval Office.

Dude, I know I look young but I turned 42 last Sunday. He would not be better than Clinton. Libertarian policies of basically drowning a small government in the bathtub sicken me.

Bill Clinton?

Yeah, I gotta disagree with you there. I don't see here having them around. She'd better not.

Easy dude. You are not on the hook for answers.
But I like your choices of Warren, Harris, and Sanders. I have no knowledge of the others.
:cool2:
Bring it.

The problem is, I too would like a plausible alternative.

I'd vote for Elizabeth Warren in a heartbeat.

If she runs, she wins. She EVISCERATES people in debates.

If you like debates like I do, go watch her debates vs Scott Brown.

She'll kill Trump in a debate and he'd say stupid things like "Pocahontas" .
