Odd...4-to-1 for R's over D's, but 6x that combined amount for an initiative that--no politics--would seem to be a platform the R's he's backing would strongly oppose?

I mean, I guess he's not a single-issue voter/donor, but this one seems odd.

Lol the first comment on the BE article is Dave saying he's leaving the comments open for now, knowing full well what's going to happen (it turning into an insane political rambling comment section like here) and then the last comment is him saying he's shutting it down even though we all knew that's what was going to happen. What a cornball, it's almost like that site wants you to be against the team sometimes with the shit they post.

Nothing, but it's a bit like Stotts playing Lillard at center. Yeah, he's the coach so he gets to make that decision, but people are going to point out it doesn't make sense.

And to be clear, I'm saying it doesn't make sense because it doesn't fit with Paul's other known interests.

He's just trying to give support to both sides in some way. If we all assume we know all his interest thats pretty aragant of us!
What if he's measured some of the things that have happened in a positive light with regards to the economy & business climate?
Maybe he had relatives that are staunch righties?
Maybe he's just giving back some of the taxes he's saved this year and wants to be a bit fair with his donation?
Maybe he's dating a republican candidate or current politician?
Maybe he'll get a huge discount on his new diesel burning around the world Ship?
One thing about Paul, he understands a balance sheet.
