Just an FYI. There is an apartment in this building also.

Another thought, she may be obligated to get peak value as part of the trust...
Like selling any asset, it's pretty much impossible to know when it's at peak value. There likely are some conditions placed on selling the team by the trust though, some sort of specified process. Hell, for all we know the trust might say she has to sell by a specific date. For some reason I'm being kept out of the loop on details again

Jody has zero need to sell right now sitting on her brothers wealth ... wait out the market ... get a feeling for where the TV number is going to come and and set the price accordingly. Blazers right now would easily go for 3B if the Bucks are at 3.5 and the Suns were around 4B.

But why does she care? The money doesn’t even go to her, Paul’s will says the sale of the Blazers has to go to charity

That would be the only good reason to continue to own them that I can think of. If she sold them to you or I for $5 she'd still have way more money then she & her extended family could spend for generations. At that level of wealth, whats the point of getting the absolute peak value if you don't enjoy dealing with an asset?

You know the money has to go to charity. I don’t even know why she cares that much on how much the sale price will end up being

Now you're catching on. It could be said she is trying to milk as much as she can out of the sale as possible? Maybe there are other issues that are being manipulated?
I obviously do not know what is happening but it's pretty easy to think there could be some options?
Maybe she is very happy with her situation and wants to create as much as possible for the charity?

My guess is there’s a tax benefit somewhere that she could enjoy in some way.

Paul's will and the terms of his trust have not been made public as far as I know.

But that was not accurate.

The Moda has been beautifully and continuously maintained and upgraded over the years.

It's like being a homeowner, you maintain your house and do upgrades every year you're not spending much vs if you don't do shit to the house and have to do major renovations and repairs.
Then I stand corrected. I don't have enough experience with other arenas to know what the they offer when compared to the Rose Garden.

Okay but think back to your experience the last time you visited the Moda.

What did you like?

I hear people complain about the lack of bathrooms during halftime and the price of beer.

That's why I was thinking it was her responsibility to get max value for the Blazers.

At some point it was made pretty clear that the executor of Paul's estate would sell off his assets to maximize the impact on his long term philanthropic goals.

I wouldn't think he'd want his assets to go for bargain prices.

It's a stadium. I don't pay attention to much beyond that. I'm in, watch the game, then out. It doesn't seem very nice... But it doesn't seem run down either.

Thought I'd read she has to extract the most amount of value out of his assets, but I could be wrong.

Man it’s ugly.
Wadded up piece of paper. It's what he old the designer he wanted the building to look like.
You should see the structure itself. Obviously you can't with the shell on it but the engineering is incredible.

I can't remember what other arenas are like, but the food has gotten a lot better at the Moda Center. The 300-level concourse is a lot of fun for kids.

Canzano mentions it here:

Allen passed away last month after complications from non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. There's been speculation about what might become of his NBA organization. According to NFL.com, Allen's plan for the Seahawks was to, "have the proceeds of the eventual sale of the team go to his foundation. The Paul G. Allen Foundation consolidated all of his causes and would be the beneficiary of the transaction."
