I thought Paul owned one of the massive condos in coin tower.

That would make sense. That room in the Rose Garden is not very big.I thought Paul owned one of the massive condos in coin tower.
Like selling any asset, it's pretty much impossible to know when it's at peak value. There likely are some conditions placed on selling the team by the trust though, some sort of specified process. Hell, for all we know the trust might say she has to sell by a specific date. For some reason I'm being kept out of the loop on details againAnother thought, she may be obligated to get peak value as part of the trust...
Jody has zero need to sell right now sitting on her brothers wealth ... wait out the market ... get a feeling for where the TV number is going to come and and set the price accordingly. Blazers right now would easily go for 3B if the Bucks are at 3.5 and the Suns were around 4B.
That would be the only good reason to continue to own them that I can think of. If she sold them to you or I for $5 she'd still have way more money then she & her extended family could spend for generations. At that level of wealth, whats the point of getting the absolute peak value if you don't enjoy dealing with an asset?
STOMP
Now you're catching on. It could be said she is trying to milk as much as she can out of the sale as possible? Maybe there are other issues that are being manipulated? But why does she care? The money doesn’t even go to her, Paul’s will says the sale of the Blazers has to go to charity
Just an FYI. There is an apartment in this building also.

I obviously do not know what is happening but it's pretty easy to think there could be some options?
Maybe she is very happy with her situation and wants to create as much as possible for the charity?
But why does she care? The money doesn’t even go to her, Paul’s will says the sale of the Blazers has to go to charity
Then I stand corrected. I don't have enough experience with other arenas to know what the they offer when compared to the Rose Garden. But that was not accurate.
The Moda has been beautifully and continuously maintained and upgraded over the years.
It's like being a homeowner, you maintain your house and do upgrades every year you're not spending much vs if you don't do shit to the house and have to do major renovations and repairs.
That's the first of heard of it too..Link?
Paul's will and the terms of his trust have not been made public as far as I know.

That's why I was thinking it was her responsibility to get max value for the Blazers. But why does she care? The money doesn’t even go to her, Paul’s will says the sale of the Blazers has to go to charity
It's a stadium. I don't pay attention to much beyond that. I'm in, watch the game, then out. It doesn't seem very nice... But it doesn't seem run down either.Okay but think back to your experience the last time you visited the Moda.
What did you like?

I hear people complain about the lack of bathrooms during halftime and the price of beer.
Thought I'd read she has to extract the most amount of value out of his assets, but I could be wrong. But why does she care? The money doesn’t even go to her, Paul’s will says the sale of the Blazers has to go to charity

Sounds like a pretty simple problem to avoid. Don’t drink the beer and you won’t need the bathroom. Get drunk at home afterwards.
Or........or drink lots of beer at the game and pee wherever.Sounds like a pretty simple problem to avoid. Don’t drink the beer and you won’t need the bathroom. Get drunk at home afterwards.

It's a fair assessment though.Link?

MoPop. Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle. Many call it the Jimi Hendrix Experience. What and where is this monstrosity?
Crowds get old fast for me. I actually have trouble enjoying the game in the stadium.Man you're boring.![]()

Wadded up piece of paper. It's what he old the designer he wanted the building to look like.Man it’s ugly.
I can't remember what other arenas are like, but the food has gotten a lot better at the Moda Center. The 300-level concourse is a lot of fun for kids.Okay but think back to your experience the last time you visited the Moda.
