Who has been the most disappointing team in the 2015 Playoffs thus far?

That play happens all the time, and has all year. When Chris Paul was lighting us up this season he did it against anyone we put on him. Our defense plays right into a competent PG's hands.
I think we're saying the same thing? Because I agree with you.

We know what his opportunities are. NY, LAL, SA, or us. We can pay him more and despite tonight's showing, he has more talent around him. And he said he wants to be the best Blazer ever. If he didn't want to play for Portland, he wouldn't be playing thru injury right now. He'd get surgery and rest for his new team.

I think the last part is reason for optimism, but I don't know LA to know what motivates him to play now. Playing devil's advocate, he could just as easily be thinking, "well, I didn't get the surgery then when it looked like we have a chance to compete for the championship, and now it's just another couple of weeks more, so I might as well just play it out." What he said doesn't matter. I don't know him and I've seen plenty of situations where things change or athletes or coaches aren't honest.

We don't know what his opportunities are. As far as straight signings, maybe the teams you mentioned. But there could be other teams that emerge through sign-and-trades. Could someone like Cleveland emerge as a possibility in a deal for Kevin Love?

We can pay him more, but what about after taxes? Texas and Florida teams don't have to factor that in, and it makes things a lot more equitable.

Again, I hope you are right. But I'd feel bad if you are convincing yourself that there is no way he leaves. I don't think it's a slam dunk.

This reminds me of the days when the mediocre Blazer teams would eek their way into the 1st round as a 7th or 8th seed then just get destroyed.

If the Okies hadn't been injured all season that's where we would have been.

Also we will get better calls playing at our home arena, some of the drives where we get clobbered and nothing gets called have pisse dme the hell off.

Only one Blazer is trying to play within a team concept - everyone else is trying to win the game on their own.

How long have you been watching the Blazers?

Guys, I do see a glimmer of hope. We played better this game. If we get Afflalo and Kaman back this weekend, we can tie this series up.

This team is done unless Stotts plays Leonard a lot more.

Losing LA would not be a tragedy. He's got some big time flaws as a player. He's very over-rated by some blazer fans.

Losing LMA means we would have to talk to Kevin Love, who wants to go through that?

So how many more "this team sucks its so obvious and LA is going to leave in FA" threads and articles are we going to get before game 3?

Only chance of avoiding a sweep is if the NBA home office wants this to go longer and we get some home cooking in Games 3 & 4.

I think we're better off without them actually.

We played better and Lillarad finally made a three. Let's throw a three four punch this weekend.

Mike talking about how much attention they are playing to Lillard...yeah, well why isn't Lillard making them pay with his passing?

Well I know all the stats say we have no shot and the way we have played seems like we have no shot but I really think once we get Affalo back we will be able to slow their guards down and it could change the series. Its now one game at a time who cares the score just play like every game is our last.

Blazers have no team game going right now. Just individuals putting up low percentage shots.

I'm searching for positives, if you think this is as far as this team goes, it will be easy to turnover this roster with all of the expiring and rookie level contracts.

Lillard 5-16
Batum 5-15
CJ 3-13

That's your game. The difference is that Afflalo and Mathews aren't playing.
